SITXWHS004 Project: WHS System for Australian Hardware

This project outlines a comprehensive Work Health and Safety (WHS) system developed for Australian Hardware, a public company operating since 1982 with 138 stores across Australia. The system addresses various aspects of WHS, including an overview of the organization's activities, structure, and needs; relevant state legislation and model Codes of Practice; consultation with colleagues; development of WHS policies and procedures; a hazard identification and risk assessment template; job descriptions with health and safety responsibilities; a master register of policies and procedures; an evaluation plan for the WHS system's effectiveness; an overview of physical and HR costs for implementation; and a plan to present the system to colleagues.
