WHS induction and training program for workers
 WHS unit is responsible for implementation, maintenance, development and training
programs for supervisors, managers, employees, officers or volunteers. The specific area
to provide training and development program for workers in ABC college are selected
which is chemistry lab.

Policies and procedures
 The workers should comply with safe work practices by avoiding injuries to others and
themselves towards equipment's of chemistry lab.
 The reasonable care of health and safety should be maintained.
 Protective equipment's should be wore by workers while placing lab equipment's such as
beakers and corks.
 Directions provided by management team should be followed by workers.
 Incidents and accidents in lab should be reported immediately.
 All the information regarding hazards should be provided to workers.

Training plan designed to address performance issues
 The training plan is designed by the management in order to address performance issues
at workplace that helps to seek co-operation of workers in the lab.
 The health and safety standards should also be maintained by management and workers.
 Safe environment with zero accident rates is necessary that chemistry lab is full of
dangerous chemicals and equipment's which can easily harm anyone.
 Code of practice and standards to provide consistent framework in order to secure health
and safety of employees in lab.

Objectives of ABC college
 The main objective of ABC college is to comply with legal policies and procedures across
jurisdictions.
 In addition to this, management is also responsible for providing workplace safety
equipment and conditions for workers in order to ensure workplace safety.
 The college is also committed towards WHS policies and procedures in order to protect
their employees towards the safest environment.

Target audience
 The target audience is for the training and induction program is workers who are working
in chemistry lab.
 Workers are responsible for managing and placing equipment's on right place.
 They also clean equipment's and other area of lab which should be done by wearing
gloves.

Adherence to WHS legislation and code of practice
 WHS workplace health and safety programs and policies are maintained by ABC college
in order to ensure workplace safety of workers effectively.
 ABC college ensures the commitment towards Work Health and Safety Act 2010 and the
Health and Safety Regulations 2012.
 The management is also following codes of practices and Standards of WHS as far as
possible.
