work to enhance the consistency of the work they provide. This can be improved by
stewardship model that can encourage the employees to serve the organization.
The major issues that Telstra will face due to the implementation of the Wilson model of
Stewardship are as follows: -
1. In case of Stewardship the main issue that is present includes decentralization of the
functional process. This is one of the major aspect that will harm the functional process
of Telstra (Mendes 2017). This decentralization of the Telsta project will affect as
proper decision making cannot be made in case of following the Wilson Stewardship
model in Telstra
2. Another issue that is present in the Wilson Model of Stewardship that will affect Telstra
is that the responsibility of the business managers are very high despite putting high
effort the benefits that they will be gaining will not be enough rewarding. This is one of
the major aspect that will affect the functioning of Telstra as retention of employees in
the managerial section will get difficult.
3. Decision making is one of the major issue that is present in the commencing of the
project. This leads to the fact that the management of the Telstra process will get
affected in a negative manner. This processing of the negative data handling process will
affect the functional process of Telstra (Simpkins & Lemyre 2018).
4. The organization is working with patriarchy and hierarchy and shifting to stewardship
will not be easy. The organization will face difficulty in making all its employees agree
to the idea of stewardship. The mentality of the employees are set to a single idea since
so many years and shifting to another idea is challenging.
These are the major aspect that will affect the Telstra functioning in a negative manner.
