Abstract The current report is about wireless
communication and network research study on the topic
“Introduction to Wireless Communication and Transmission
fundamentals” with using two different journals. Wireless
communication is used for the transfer of information between
two or more points. The research conducts with using different
methodologies that will discuss in the research study.
Keywords— wireless communication, full-duplex, 5-G
technology
I. INTRODUCTION
The research conduct on the topic of “Introduction to
Wireless Communication and Transmission fundamentals”
with using two different journal papers, in which title of the
paper one is “Achieving single channel, full duplex wireless
communication” and the paper two titles is “Cellular
architecture and key technologies for 5G wireless
communication network”. The goal of both research paper is
to provide the information and knowledge about the wireless
and communication network. One of the papers will discuss
the full-duplex wireless transmission and the second paper
discuss the wireless communication system.
II. METHODOLOGIES
The key points of the one paper are network architecture and
design – wireless communication with the general terms of
design and performance. The challenges of paper one are the
practical implementation with using the radio signals.
Implement the hardware with the software signals that is
possible with the creation of full duplex. The paper one
includes the methodology of antenna cancellation that is a
good technique of signal cancellation and helpful to
implement the practice of full duplex radio. A wireless
technique needs the hardware for the implementing of the
different services. Different service of the various
generations like 4G and 5G need to implement the hardware
and software with the antenna and AGC (automatic gain
control stage). Provide the block diagram of a wireless full-
duplex node with different coloured blocks implement the
different techniques [1].

The second paper is about cellular architecture and required
key technologies for 5G wireless communication networks.
The fourth generation of wireless communication adopted
by various countries. It’s a challenge to increase the
bandwidth for completing the demand for mobile devices
and services. The companies of the wireless design system
also facing the issues of increasing data rates and suitable
mobility. The journal second provides information about the
5G wireless communication system. Multiple inputs and
multiple output with the technology of link adaption are
used in the mobile telecom services. Here, provides an
architecture of 5G heterogeneous wireless cellular that
includes the mobile femtocell network with the large MIMO
network [2].

III. COMPARISON
In the comparison of both papers, paper one includes
more details in brief with each separate point. The paper one
divides the paper into different sections as evaluation,
challenges, related work, applications and others. The result
of the paper one provides the flexibility in the system and
design of full-duplex with the comparison of half duplex.
The limitations of the paper one design are like, bandwidth,
size and transmit power. The paper provides another result
of antenna cancellation with the different interference
patterns of constructive and destructive. The result of the
frequency response gets with the cancellations stages. The
paper one is about to achieve the signal channel frequencies
with the wireless communication and a summary provides in
the result of the paper one as like, the throughput of the full-
duplex used to link to represent the median gain of 1.84
multiple and the full-duplex is more reliable compared to
the half-duplex. When no digital interference cancels then
full-duplex used to manage the 67% more reliability of the
half-duplex [1].
As per the result of the second paper, there is 92 per cent
growth in mobile devices with broadband services every year
since 2006. The 5G techniques dramatically change the
market of the mobile device as users spend 80 per cent time
in indoors and 20 per cent time at outdoor. In indoor
communication, user spends time with mobile phone or
tablet through the internet. The distributed antenna system
and MIMO, that discussed in the journal one, used to
implement the 5G network with fulfilling the user’s
requirement. The visible light communication is also the

result of the journal second and completes with the RF
modulation. Optical auto cells are used in the small optical
BS as the result of the network. This is also a part of the
visible light communication. The term green communication
is possible with the 5G wireless system that is helpful to
minimize the energy consumptions. The operators of
wireless communication have the goal of energy
consumptions with the efficient way [2].
IV. COMMENTS
The advantage of both papers is to gain the knowledge of
different terms with wireless communication, full duplex
with half duplex and 5G technology. One of the advantages
of paper one is media access control take the advantages of
full-duplex. The applications of the paper one are used to
reduce the hidden terminals with the wi-fi setups. MAC
schedule is used to reduce congestion. The challenges of the
paper one are like, full duplex in 802.11 without the
cancellation techniques and antenna. The RF cancellation
techniques are used for the cancellation of the noise circuit.
The next challenges in the paper one are high transmit
power that presented with the three cancellation techniques
[1].
The advantages of the second paper of wireless
communication are massive MIMO that used to add
different antenna with transmitter and receiver. The concept
of mobile Femtocell is also the advantages of the potential
systems that is the core of the network protocol. The
challenge of the 5G wireless communication network is a
limited space. It is helpful to optimize the performance
matrix that used to reduce the signals for the complexity of
massive MIMO [2].
V. SUGGESTIONS
The work of the paper supported by the national science
foundation and the technology of Microsoft. The major
suggestion for both the journals is to increase the technology
for the benefits of humans and humanity and reduce the
massive use of technology as it is the major disadvantages
of the technology. Enhance the knowledge and skills to
understand the different networks and technology.
VI. CONCLUSION
Successfully select and create the research report on the
selected topic of “Introduction to Wireless Communication
and Transmission fundamentals” with using two journals.
Enhance the knowledge about the different techniques with
communication techniques by this research paper.
