INTRODUCTION
Networking is based on the conceptual framework that establish interconnection system
through channel with exchanging the information by implementing the network services. For
small retail enterprises, it will design the wireless network infrastructure that maintain and
control the information.
It will propose the network infrastructure solution of small retail business with providing
long terms benefits. The primary aim of network solution is to improve the current limited
capability and capacity which accommodate the expansion of business across the world. This
type of solution will perform action to provide sophisticated data communication technologies
functions to the network and system users.
This documentation will articulate the network proposal and requirements of IT
infrastructure. It will design the overall model of infrastructures that easily capture the business
requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
In efficient ways to design the Wireless Local area network for Small retail business, it
needed to consider some important parameters that manage the overall data transmission. In
regards as large number of devices encounter in the frame before get the final destination (Wang
and Lu, 2019).
Bandwidth
The large amount of data can be transmitted from one place to another in the fixed
amount of time. it is mainly expressed in the (Bbps)bits per second. The ideal network structure
is able to utilise the optimal bandwidth. It can be aggregated by combine one or more
connections that achieve the logical higher connection. Therefore, bandwidth is the important
requirement of network to establish the connection and link with the different switches.
Connectivity
Network connectivity is mainly describing the process that establish connection with the
different part of network. It is mainly used the switches, gateways and routers etc. Small
enterprises are based on the integrating concept of communication over data network for reliable
operations and functions. the hardware devices are needed to implement the over internet
protocol which are quite expensive and also depend on the size of business (Li, 2018). in this
way, it will require the special switches that uses in the network infrastructure. Another

hierarchical network (Dyer and et.al., 2019).
Interfaces
In small enterprises, it is used the network interface that are usually contain the address
and consist of port number and identifiers. It is unique address that protect the single during data
transmission. This type of interface provides suitable functions such as disconnecting, message
passing and connecting etc.
System requirement
In this section, it can be defined the non-functional and functional requirement which is
to be considered for designing the Wireless network infrastructure. There are different types of
hardware system require for designing the infrastructure and considered the better solution for
design purpose (Zhang, 2018).

limitation of software and hardware.

be divided into VLAN and IP address range.

DESIGN SOLUTION
In this section, it will design the different phases to complete the network infrastructure and
enhancement. First of all, it can be used the network topology that provide the configuration
through network devices and perform the effective operations in proper manner.

system that meet the goals of business. In Figure :1 It is entailing the design of network which
configuration of different hardware devices that applicable for performing operations (Molnar
and Muntean, 2019). It is mainly consisting of workstation computers, Modem, switches,
printers and firewalls that present in proper manner. It is considered as a physical model of
topology that uses as connection establishment.
Network topology:
It is a type of arrangement of different element that can use for communication purpose.
It is based on the topological structure of network which may be depicted in both logically and
physically manner. It consists of different types: Mesh, start, ring, bus and hybrid topology.

Scope
The scope of project is divided into two ways mention phase-1 physical design and
phase-2 logical. This documentation is mainly described about different phases that would be
capture all requirement of business.
Solution description
It is divided into two different phases: physical and logical design of network
infrastructure so as introduce the network capability with limited investment requirement while
in design-2 it can implement the network infrastructure with full of security and resiliency.
(Phase-1)
It is mainly designing the simple network with full of resilient and secured model by
using firewall. It doesn’t have any type of redundancy by using switch and firewall (Zhang and
Chen, 2019). Network connection established in between the small retail enterprise and upgrade
with new version that cannot installed cabling. It must be implemented wireless point that allows
to the aggregation switch in the building of small retail enterprises.

As per discussion, it concluded that Networking is a type of system that can use different
physical hardware devices for the purpose of data transmission. It can be established
interconnection between sender and receiver side by using distributed channels. It has been
summarised the network infrastructure solution of small retail business with providing long
terms benefits. The primary aim of network solution is to improve the current limited capability
and capacity which accommodate the expansion of business across the world. Furthermore, it
can be understanding the network solution and requirements of IT infrastructure. However, it
also designs the overall model of infrastructures that easily capture the business requirements.
