INTRODUCTION
Wireless technology plays role for all organisations, companies and businesses in this
dynamic and modern world. Currently top-level management within each business has highly
require to implement those all gadgets and tools within its workplace for enhancing existing
productivity and performance. There are Bluetooth and 5G some major wireless technologies in
this time. On the other side, 5G is the 5th generation mobile network technology. This report
discusses wireless technologies which can support to Melbourne Institute of Systems for
booming its business operations.

Technical Backgrounds of Technologies
Bluetooth is very important wireless technology which plays a productive role in any
business or company Basically, Bluetooth provides facility of data exchanging, in which a
person can easily exchange different data between mobile and fixed devices using short-
wavelength (Dragičević, Siano and Prabaharan, 2019). Bluetooth operates on various devices
like; personal computers, smartphones, audio devices and gaming consoles etc. Currently
Bluetooth is completely managed by the SIG (Bluetooth Special Group). Nowadays, SIG has
35000 member companies or businesses in the areas of computing, telecommunication,
consumer electronics and networking. Generally, Bluetooth is operated through UHF radio
waves within the scientific, medical and industrial radio bands, between 2.402 GHz and 2.480
GHz, and builds PANs (Personal Area Networks). Range of Bluetooth is always up to 33ft (100
m).
On the other side, 5G is the fifth generation mobile network technology which has designed for
connecting virtually everything and everyone together including different machines, devices and
objects etc. Basically 5G has innovated and designed by different cellular phone companies for
providing the new basis to the worldwide cellular phone industry. This mobile network
technology come after 4G wireless technology. However, currently most companies or business
are using 3G and 4G wireless technologies in their daily operations, because currently 5G
technology is in under testing (Galvez, Mejuto and Simal-Gandara, 2018). When developers of

5G technology will get satisfied with speed of this technology, then they can permanently launch
technology in the market. Nowadays, only some selected companies are using 5G technology.
Melbourne Institute of Technology will be able to boom or boost its business operations in the
future, with the support of 5G technology.

Bluetooth devices are completely wireless, in which a user no need to carry different
connecting cables or wires to connect its one device with another device.

operations (Jany and et.al., 2017). This will give opportunity to institute for transferring

5G can allow for implementing network slicing (virtual network). This specification of

A user of Bluetooth wireless technology always as required to consider security aspect
while using this technology (Jabbar and et.al., 2018). Otherwise, it can face different issues
which has based on Bluetooth technology. There are three major basic means of Bluetooth
security has been discussed below;
Authentication: This is aspect of Bluetooth security provides facility for verifying
communicating devices to a user.
Confidentiality: This aspect of security helps in giving access to only those devices
which has authorised by user. This security feature will support to MIT for creating a safe
and secure zone for its various data.
On the other side, MIT has highly required consider securing aspects also when it will use
5G technology within its workplace for booming its business. While transferring data through
this wireless technology, top-level management need to implement some date security software
programmes within workplace. These software programmes will support to company protecting
its various confidential data from different unethical hackers. In this dynamic or modern world,
cybercrime is increasing day by day, in which MIT is responsible to hire some skilled and
talented software designers who can create a safe and secure zone for its 5G wireless technology.

opportunity to boom or boost its business within various market segments by implementing
wireless technologies in the workplace. There are Bluetooth 5G are some major wireless
technologies which can support to institute for increasing speed of its daily operations. In this
dynamic and modern world, each origination highly need to implement these technologies within
its workplace (Li and Chen, 2018). Otherwise, that organisation can’t gain effective results in the
market. On other side, the management of MIT has highly required to maintain proper safety and
security also in the workplace while using Bluetooth and 5G technology. By taking this step, the
institute will be able to securing its different data.

also able to take huge advantages from these technologies. Currently this institute want to boom

That’s why top-level management of institute need to implement these Bluetooth and 5G
wireless technologies within its workplace for booming its business in the market. There is
