Introduction
Medical treatment is provided to person with the goal of restoring or
maintaining health of patient. If treatment fails because there are some disease
that cannot be treated by medicines, artificial aids and several others which
results in failing treatment (Hickman & et. al., (2011).

Withhold Treatment
Withhold treatment is an action which is taken by health care sector of
discontinuing the care due to declining in their health. However, in this
situation care provider feel helpless as body of patient stopped recovering.
Apart from this, health care practitioners are those who take care of patients in
hospital or any other institutions. Moreover, they are the one under whose
eyes overall activities are conducted.

Implications for Health Care
Practice
In health cares an practice is an administrator is one who run or manage
hospital, medical clinics well several other forms of medical offices. As well
as, health care is essential for human beings survival and it is concerned with
the improvement of the society.

Case Study and its relations with health
care practice
Linda doesn't want to opt for dialysis – She is an lady is suffering from
diabetes from last many years and this disease developed kidney failure in her
body. The declining stature of the health concerned the family members who
recommended her to opt for dialysis. But Linda was too reluctant to opt for
treatment and does not wish to live longer as she has just witnessed the birth
of her grand child which was eight months ago.

But as the time passes, Linda is growing weaker because of this she is not able
to do much things for herself and started feeling tired (Wendler& Rid, (2011).
She knew that undertaking of such treatment will be painful and take away the
time which could spent with the family. She was not in favour of prolonging
death and straight away declined the treatments. After stopping treatment she
dies two week later at home with her family members.

analysed that individual can
withdrawal his/her treatment when
they feel that medical facilities and
medicine and only extending their
death (Heyland & et. al., (2015).
Same as in this case Linda's refusal to
dialysis treatment because she feel
that it will only prolong her death.

Conclusion
From the above assignment it has been identified that, Withdrawal or

practices are only extending their death. In the mention case of Linda same
situation take place because of which she taken decision to withheld dialysis
treatment.
