control and deals with everyday tasks in a stockroom. WMS programming aides stock
accepting and set away, enhances picking and sending of requests and exhorts on stock
renewal. Basically, the warehouse management system is used for various purposes to store
the items or the products on a very large scale and this is the place from where the products
are being generally get delivered to the clients.
Here we are going to Develop an idea in which the older WMS system will get be replaced
with the newer technology which will not only help to increase the profit of the company by
selling more products. The design implementation will take place here which will allow
making better WMS for the company owner. The better system will be used here and we are
also going to use the ERP system here which will help the WMS to do work with full
automation and this will reduce the cost to manage the company and it will be going to be a
cost-cutting step for the warehouse.

2.1 Functional and non-functional requirements
2.1.1 Functional Requirements: - There are different kinds of functional requirements
which are:
The warehouse will be occupied with the latest technologies like the barcode
machines which will boost the time of passing out the product to the client. The
barcode system will be used to scan the auto-parts and each and every auto-part

products can be placed in a small area in the warehouse and give more space to
accommodate more products in the warehouse.
The website which will be made in order to get the orders from the customer will
be changed because it will now include the order status also in which the customer
can to get know about the order status and also the order will now be accepted for
the small parts also.
The warehouse now works in a different way as the product of the same type will
be placed in a single room from where if the order received can be easily be found

The new system will calculate the products coming in the warehouse as well as

your inventory to meet current orders. This module will help to input orders from a
variety of sources and dynamically create an order list to fill, assigns picking tasks
to employees, and prioritizes based on the characteristic you define, such as filling
back-orders first.
2.1.2 Non Functional requirements: - The different kind of non-functional requirements

Management: -There is a need to change the size of the warehouse because the
ERP system will lead to the expansion of the business because of which the
demand for more products will be there and for that a big warehouse is needed so
that warehouse will be capable of handling more products must need to be there

The security and safety will be a key feature of the warehouse and this will ensure

system so warehouse must be equipped with the latest machines and that machines
should be checked and their accuracy is a most important feature as the better the
accuracy of the machine better it will work.
Record maintenance is must as it will ensure the product delivery on time and it
will take knowledge about the supplies received and deliveries done so that it will

The warehouse system will use certain kind of technologies like the ERP system
which will make the whole of the system automatic. The barcode technology will
also be used through which the products will have the individual identity and it will
help to pass out the product fast from the warehouse and can be delivered fast to
the customer.
The next thing required in the warehouse management system is using the
allocation technique of the auto-parts in the warehouse and for this, we require
better employees which can take care of this. The ERP system will not only help to
automate the warehouse management system but also for that we need qualified
employees in the warehouse as they will take care of the products manually as
well.

which will the better insight to the use of the advanced technology and it will also help to
enhance the picking and dropping facilities which will help to give the better reviews from
the clients. The barcode modern system will be used to check the products coming in the
warehouse and going out from the warehouse will help to know about the products and it will
also decrease the time of picking and dropping. The better safety features are being suggested
which will make sure that employees working in the warehouse will not face any kind of
problems. The overall system suggested here will help to maintain the warehouse in a better
way than before.
