1. Introduction (Problem statement)
The topic presents about the economic empowerment of women and how it has been
mobilized in the 21st century for making sure that the males and females are treated equally from
every aspects. The gender inequality was a major cause, due to which, women were considered
as inferior to males and this hindered the successful growth and development of women and
affected their personal and professional lives too (Boserup, Tan & Toulmin, 2013). The
achievement of women economic empowerment is necessary though it will require effective
policies, procedures, a holistic approach and long term commitment from the individuals
associated with it. The women will be integrated through gender specific perspectives at the
design stage of policy and ensure that more employment opportunities are created for the women
along with focus on the developmental factors to ensure success growth and development of the
women within the society in the 21st century (Wolf, 2013). The economic empowerment of
women is considered as a major sustainable development goal that shall be achieved to prevent
inequality and ensure that women have more scopes and opportunities to excel in their career and
remain ahead in their personal lives too.

To identify the innovative and holistic approaches required to economically empower the
women in Australia
To evaluate various factors associated with their growth and increased roles of women in
the economy to overcome the financial and economic crisis
To assess the probable effects that may be caused by empowering women economically
through partnership working and higher level of investments made
To recommend most suitable ways of improving the employment opportunities for
women and ensure empowering them to facilitate economic growth of Australia in the
21st century
3. A brief methodology
The research methodology is considered as important because of its extensive use of
literature review and discussion based on secondary sources along with proper data collection
and analysis too.
Literature review
Based on the statements provided in the articles and journals presented by authors, with
the economic empowering of women, it has become much easier to generate higher female
earnings and influence the bargaining power too. This has lead to higher growth in economy and
accomplished the long term goals and objectives too (Rai, 2013). With higher investments made,
the employment opportunities for women have increased and it has even made them get equal
wages and sometimes even higher than males within the working environment too.

Data collection
The collection of both primary and secondary data is important and it is important to
categorize the primary data components into qualitative and quantitative data. The quantitative
data are the responses of women workers who are to be provided with survey questionnaires
where they shall provide their views and opinions regarding their scope and opportunities at the
present century. The qualitative data will be obtained by arranging interview session with the
managers of few organizations to understand their views and opinions regarding mobilization of
economic empowerment of women. The samples that will be chosen for collection of data are 35
women workers and 4 managers of the organizations.
4. Secondary source of data presentation and analysis
The SPSS and central tendencies measuring statistical tools will be used to analyze the
data and present those data and information in the form of tables, graphs so that the researcher
can understand easily. The quantitative data ate basically analyzed and interpreted while
secondary data sources like journals, articles, newspaper articles and internet websites. It will be
holding information about mobilization of economic women empowerment will be analyzed for
presenting the literature review section.
