LAVALSE is a vegan underwear brand, offering cozy and comfy hemp undies for
women. The underwear offered by the business organization is made of 53% hemp and 44% of
original cotton for the comfort of the women. The underwear offered by LAVALSE is 3%
spandex for stretch. The fabric and organic hemp fabrics are sourced from GOTS certified
suppliers from China and US (Czekala et al. 2019). The purpose of this report is to analyze the
current situation prevailing in women underwear industry. It provides details of the materials
used to manufacture women underwear.

has been increase in the demand of underwear with fabrics such as cotton, Lycra, lace, silk,
polyester, and nylon(Torres 2017). The companies are focusing on designer products and styling
underwear with lace, luxurious materials, embroidery, and brighter hues. The consumers are
being increasingly attracted towards styling, fabric, and color. These trends and demands
encourage the manufacturers to offer luxurious and trendy underwear suitable for different
activities (Tsarenko and Lo 2017).
- Vegan interest
The vegan interest in underwear industry is growing in popularity. It uses environmental
friendly fabrics and materials for producing underwear such as bamboo. The underwear products
are being made by hand. The main fabrics that are brought used are organic cotton and bamboo.
The underwear products are highly stylish and comfortable to wear. These products are in line
for brides and bridesmaids (Tsarenko and Lo 2017). The products by LAVTALSE are inspired

revolution. The overall apparel and lingerie industry is growing at 9 percent. It is expected that

research, it is evident that women’s lingerie segment holds nearly 52% share in the innerwear
market (Warbung and Sanjaya 2017). The increased awareness about fashion and health are
being the driving force of the consumers to demand more.

awareness of health and comfort among the consumers in the lingerie market. The consumers are
focusing on designer products and styling underwear with lace, luxurious materials, embroidery,
