Introduction
Work based experience is the approach that helps the individual to see the real life experience and
capabilities along with developing the factors of employability. The study will review the project of
suitable beauty therapist organization and in that concern the report will give the industry experience.
The contract of negotiation and business constraints on the work experience will also be highlighted in
the report. Work experience plan, task prioritization and benefits of the activities will be examined in
report. The study will undertake the work experience along with monitoring and evaluating the own
learning and performance in the report.

P1.1 Research and evaluate suitable organizations that could provide industry experience
Industry experience to the individual is gained through working in current and past jobs of the person. It
is also important to determine the growing sector that can offer good experience in the past and future.
In the present study, I have been self employed and running beauty therapist organization and previous I
was working in Apulum hotel as the waiter post. Still presently I have two projects in my hand that is
working again as the Assistant waiter in Apulum hotel and to work as the position of owner in own
organization. The below presented is the comparison table of the two projects:-

Services of the beauty therapist is also effective as it gives the individual the skills
of making the decision, increasing own profits by making more efforts and
reducing the risk. Further, no need of job security is present. If the business is not
working they can switch to another business with the same capital but the same is
not possible in employment job.

Both the projects have their own importance and benefits of working. But after analyzing from the
above, it can be that working as self employed is more appropriate by running beauty therapist
organization.
P1.2 Negotiate with work and academic supervisors a proposal for the work experience
As I have chosen the project for self employed as beauty therapist firm I need to negotiate with the terms
for carrying out that includes my past and present experience as well. The roles and duties will be
performed by me on regular basis and accordingly laws and protocols will be developed. The below

Eligibility B.Sc. in beauty cosmetology for 3 years and basic
eligibility is Academic studies from reputed board.
Past experience Working as the waiter in the hotel for 3 years till my
course of beauty therapist finishes.

Resources present The beauty therapist job is categorized into four
segments such as body treatments, facial treatments,
nail treatments and make-up. All types of beauty
resources are required including the furniture and
necessary equipments needed in the outlet. That means
human and capital resources are essentially the main
tools needed in beauty outlet (Binder and Coad, 2016).

Brief introduction on self I am very much confidence, friendly and love my work.
I try to put my best efforts to impress and convenience
the client. This quality is achieved in me through
working in past as the waiter who also has convenience
power to the customers for particular products. I
necessarily take my technical and personal skills in my
work.
Reason for work experience The work experience is important as it supports me to
expand my business to the next level project
(McKeown and Leighton, 2016). Though already
competent enough to take the risk in the project yet
strong confidence in needed in me to do the business in
the efficient manner.
Future plan I want to increase my sole proprietor business to the

next level so that sale can be increased and profits can
be raised.
Negotiating method of contracting
For increasing my sales of the business I carefully negotiate with the clients and I can also use the
referral method which offers discount to the customers. The approach of negotiation is important to the
business and the use of online contracting method is also applicable (Kennedy, 2017). Further online
negotiation supports both the organization and customer to increase the sales and profits.
Communication role is offered through social media with the customers.

Business limitations influence the organization for meeting the desired objectives and purposes. Few of
the limitations that are experienced by the self employer of beauty therapist organization that impacts
the business operations are mentioned below:-
