This report presents a work-based learning project focused on initiating, planning, managing, monitoring, and evaluating a training and development program at a Hilton hotel. The project addresses the need for enhanced skills and knowledge among staff, particularly in light of post-COVID-19 measures. The report details the setting of targets, aims, and objectives for the training, the management and monitoring of progress throughout the project lifecycle, and the evaluation of deadlines and benefits achieved at each stage. It also reflects on the experience and learning gained at the Hilton hotel, linking these experiences to theoretical models like SWOT, PESTLE, and Gibbs' reflective cycle. The project aims to improve health and hygiene practices, enhance customer service through technology, and develop a brand image as a safe and healthy hospitality organization.
