INTRODUCTION
Work based learning is determined as technique or strategy according to which students
are provided specific work experiences in the real life so that they can experienced each and
every circumstances properly (Gupta and Deep, 2019). In this an individual apply their
knowledge, technical and academic skills for enhancing their employability. Moreover, through
work based learning a student able to enhance their skills which are necessary for the
employability and for developing positive as well as strong work history. The respective report
includes information related to self evaluation and evaluation of potential placement
opportunities. Moreover it will also include career path for placement that will be based on above
evaluation that are provide in report.
Task 1: Self-evaluation
Abilities and achievements
For getting best college placement, a student needs to have certain abilities, skills as well
as a strong experience of achievements. In order to this it is essential for students to have proper
knowledge and skills according to their specialization because through that they can attain best
opportunity related to employability and placement. In this soft skills are determined as
necessary components through which a student can avail best placement opportunity at college
(Hoogerheide and et. al., 2019). In respect of me I have several abilities such as work in team
which I develop while working in group or team at the university. Through this skills I also learn
how to express ideas or thoughts in team or in front of others as well as I also get to know that
asking question in group is not wrong whereas through it I can increase my knowledge. While
working in team I also able to enhance my communication skills which are important in every
job or activities as well as I also get to know how to communicate effectively through e mails
and articles notes and in group discussion.
Furthermore, I also achieved second price in my college at the time of inter college
debate competition as well as me and my team is also appraised as the best team in class. I
always active and take part in different activities which are held at the university because
through that I able to explore thinks and enhance my knowledge as well as skills. Moreover, I

also coordinate finance club at the University in which I am responsible for monitoring all
financial activities at club.
Previous experience
My previous working experience is in E & C Expert Cont Ltd where I am responsible for
meeting clients and resolving their tax related quarries on daily basis. I also address their issues
and concern as well as I also takes feedback from the clients as that will help management in
decision making process. In addition to this I also assist clients in getting most appropriate
services according to their requirement and need. For all these activities I conduct
communication with the all individuals who visited at our store on daily basis. I also interact
with them and try to convince them to buy our different services (Jabarullah and Hussain, 2019).
I generally work on the basic demos which need to provide customers related to service
information as well as its related features.
Apart from this work experience I also had a working experience as a volunteer at the
NGO who conduct work to empower women by aware them about their rights. In this I got the
opportunity to teach as well as inspire all age group women about the rights, basis computer,
English, self defense and so on. I mainly joined NGO for enhancing my confidence,
communication and convincing skills. While working with NGO I conduct numbers of
discussion with women in order to uplift their confidence so that they become empower and
stand for themselves in every situation. This both working situation help me in enriching and
nourishing my skills as well as abilities so that I will perform effectively in my job which I get
during placement.
Discipline and work-related preferences
My interest to do work is in consultancy firm as a college student as well as I also wants
to work with that firm who value their employees and believe in their growth. This is so because
