INTRODUCTION
Reflective practice mainly helps in analysing various experiences and the actions for
adopting continuous learning and development. Employability and the transferable skills mainly
help in developing and performing the effective job performance with acquiring various essential
attribute and skills. This report provides details about the reflective practices for developing the
employability and transferable skills with using the bucks graduate attribute reflecting with using
the job characteristic model and theory in the work-related context. Providing my experiences
with evaluating the employability skills, competency and knowledge. Also demonstrating the
reflection on the work-related experiences to the future goals and the career plans. Lastly writing
the CV.
MAIN BODY
Critically reflecting on the relation between the relevant Theory in th work related contexts with
applying into the own experiences and goals
The job characteristic model and the theory mainly systems about that performing various
task in the company which are of challenging in nature mainly motivates the individual in
performing the work. Whereas when the task is boring and doing the monotonous job aid in
reducing and creates disaster in motivating and individual. While when I was employed in a
workplace for performing various task as an employer. I had different experiences when being
employed for completing various task in the workplace. When the task being assigned to me for
working, various challenging task which was hard in nature and I was very conscious in
completing the task mainly motivated me as for performing the different and challenging task in
the workplace. Further this mainly motivate and encouraged me to perform task which is
challenging and more interesting in nature (Job Characteristics Model , 2022). As it help me in
being engaged for the longer time and developed the critical thinking and problem solving skills
as for resolving various problems being arrived in performing various task. More over, in
performing the voluntarily work as I was mentoring various individuals with providing the

guidance as of achieving the goals. As I was guiding individual and the peers for working in the
effective manner about the circumstances which I have faced while performing the boring task
but helped me in developing and changing the opinions of peers effectively by achieving the
desired objectives. As guiding the peers and various individual was the boring task and this has
impacted my motivational level of mentoring others. With the characteristics theory the boring
tasks affect my motivation level of performing the desired work in the enthusiastic and more
motivated manner. Furthermore, while studying in the university I have learned various skills
and experiences which has impacted my future growth and achieving the desired goals. As by
working with various individual for completing the assignments has developed the team working
skills and the being patience and taking initiative for solving all the problems on my own in the
studies has developed the problem solving skills. Furthermore, being appointed as the team
leader of the group of member and assigning the particular task of the assignment to all the team
members have developed my leadership skills. Thus, all these skills will helps me in developing
better career in the futures for achieving the desired professional goals.

While being employed in the company as for performing various task in the company. I
have very great experiences while working and performing various task. As this has improved
my motivation skills. The challenging task improved my motivational skills for performing well
and completing the task on time. This has encourages me to perform better and brainstorming my
skills for achieving the best results by selecting various alternatives for completing the
challenging task on time. This has provided me the challenging experiences while working
effectively for achieving the objectives. Further while working as the voluntarily in motivating a
mentoring various peers and individual has helped me in providing effective mentoring an
communicating skills (Bhatti and et..al., 2022). As this has provided me with very good
experiences by listening to the different opinions of the various individual and mentoring as for
performing effectively in various challenging circumstances. Various transferable and
employability skills include the problem solving, critical thinking, leadership, communication
and team working.
The bucks graduate model mainly explains about developing the skills as the innovative

and employability skills as of the team working, while appointed as the team leader in acquiring
the education and academics. For completing the assignment for pursuing better grades in the
academics has helped in developing the team working and collaborating skills which aids in

more efficiency in working by communicating effectively. Further more bucks career and
employability opportunity mainly helps in achieving various opportunities for development of
the communication and leadership skills (Suleman, 2018). As various transferable skills related
to the future employment which helps in better employability include the problem solving skills,
it has helped in responding various problems of consumers as for achieving the desired results by
identifying the key issues for addressing and solving the challenging task in the company. Also,
by taking various initiatives as for improving my knowledge for selecting the best alternatives
has helped me in developing the problem solving skills by deeply thinking and brainstorming
about various ideas for taking the best alternative. The bucks graduate is mainly helps in
developing the leadership and various capabilities for achieving better career option and
opportunities in the future by employing into the reputed company as of the local enterprise for
the start-ups (Nisha and Rajasekaran, 2018). It is mainly providing various opportunity for
developing the career by placements. As with acquiring the leadership skills mainly helps me in
strategically adapting and working in the business of employing effectively in any company.
Also, it helps in understanding about various business concepts and guiding the peers for
working in the enthusiastic and passionate manner with acquiring the leadership skills according
to the buck’s graduate model.

Demonstrating reflection on and applying learning from the work-related experience to future
goals and career plans
As I have an intense interest to grow my career in the field of health as well as social care
sector, I always desired to pamper myself with different services related to health care for
supporting and helping people those who are in need. In addition to this, I wanted to grow my
future career in the same industry to serve the people. I desire to work as a counsellor for
offering direction at the same time evaluating their complexities and issues. Thus, there are
different skills which I have determined are quite essential that is communication, problem
solving, leadership and time management skills. As I have good oral communication skills, there
is a requirement to work in the professional environment. I have to learn how to communicate
and interact in such a manner that I success and advance my career in this profession (Kushe,
2019). Each and every organization’s business is generally depended on the ways individual
communicate and how good they are with putting off the presentation for the new clients for
meeting the varied crucial customers. As a counsellor I need to have good communication skills
such that I can handle them and give them information correctly and adequately.
As I discussed previously that there are some strengths of my current role as a health and
social care counsellor that is communication skills and creativity skills. However, there are some
limitations or weaknesses as well such as leadership skills, time management skills and patience
level which I need to work on for advancing my career in this field. Moving further, my work-
related experience as a health and social care counsellor have significantly impacted my future
career plans, I have realized and learned that for becoming successful in this field of job, there
are certain skills and abilities which I am required to learn and some I need to change for my
own betterment. I have learned that in order to be a counsellor it is very much crucial on my part
to be good observer, which I think I am quite good at. It is important to be able to observe the
facial expressions of the person, body language and gestures (Knowles, 2021). The social
communication at the time appointments helps in finding the clues which helps in identifying the
behaviour and attitude. In addition to this, it is also important that I must grasp a little knowledge
regarding conducting interview and observe the customers thoroughly in order to provide the
adequate help.
Furthermore, I have also realized that for growing my career in this profession I must be
good solving the problems that might arise anytime. It is important that I must have an

alternative plans and approaches present readily and be in a position to execute them quickly for
making sure that the customers or people who needs my support can move forward. I am quite
weak at solving the problems and thus, I need to work hard on this ability for my future career
plans and goals. Underpinning the discussion further, this work-related experience has also
helped me to recognize that health and social care counsellors are required to be work very
effectively with varied groups and people encompassing different colleagues and clients. there
might be occasions where I have to work with a customer for months or even for a year and
therefore, I need to have the capability and talent for building and developing association. This is
considered as very significant skills. Besides, it is also essential that I must be aware of the
reaction of the clients and must comprehend the reasons behind those reactions. Furthermore, it
is obligatory on my part to understand the manners of persuading the client to change and alter
their mindset or behaviour (Abd Majid and et.al, 2020). With this knowledge, I realized that I am
not so good at making and maintaining relationships and thus, making improvement in my inter-
personal skills will be my future goals and for developing and advancing my career plan.
Overall, it can be said that there are some strengths of my current role as a health and social care
counsellor such as communication, creativity and good observe. However, I have determined
certain skills and abilities which I need to develop such as communication skills, inter-personal
skills and leadership skills for excelling my career in this field and these will be my future goals
for developing my career plans.

From the above report it can be concluded that various employability and transferable
skills helps in achieving the better career option in future. As it mainly included team working,

various consumers by helping with addressing needs. The bucks graduate provides various job
