INTRODUCTION
In this world where working styles of the organization is getting to a great shift from
traditional to modern type of structure, the flexibilities are also increasing. Earlier the
organisation restricts the use of any technological device in its working. But as the company has
realise the purpose and the usage of the technology and technological devices the organisation
has become every much open to its usage. The companies or the organisation is allowing the use
of these technological devices into the office. This report discusses about how the work life
balance can create when the organisation allows the usage of technological devices like mobile
phones into the office. This report talks in favour of the topic and focuses upon its merits.
TASK
WORK LIFE BALANCE- Through encouraging the use or allowance of technological devices
like mobile phones.
With the changes in the working styles of the organisation and offices, the flexibility
among the styles of working has increased. Now a days all the organisations are shifting their
working styles from traditional to modern one. As the work is now no longer is concern with the
physical place or premises, it has now taken its mobility. The work mobility refers to performing
the work from anywhere, anytime and from any devices (Nam, 2014). As the increase in
technology usage by the world, it has become very much mandatory for the organisations to
adopt these advanced technologies. These advance technology has not only helped the
organisations in their operations but also the employees. Through these technology and
technological devices the employees can perform their working activities from any where and at
anytime. This has caused the flexibilities and mobilities with respect to the work and working
styles. The employees can now perform the work from their home also as now they can have the
full access of their work. This has enable the employees to not necessarily visit office as their
work now can be done from anywhere.
Through these the employees feel relaxed as they need not have to visit to the office, they
can work at home or from some where else because now all the organisation wants is work
which can now be performed from anywhere and anytime. Such flexibilities has helped the
employees in bringing the balance in their work life. The employees now does not have to be in
office for 7 hours straight, as how he can work in his home among his families. With this the

employee also able to give proper time to his family, friends and to his social life. It has been
observed that the earlier when the employee who worked for straight 7 hours in organisation,
after the completion of his working hours he left so tried that he does not give anytime to his
family and friends (Radesky and et. al., 2014). But through the allowance of technological
devices and its access the employees can manages their work accordingly. Through this the
employee can manages all the other associated factors in his life also. Like he ca handle his
family life, friends, social life, work and his own personal time also. Also through these
technological devices helps the organisation in getting in touch with one another. The
organisations are faster its communication through the technological communication. They can
easily communicate through messages, whats up, skype, video conferencing and so on. The
issues and the conflict can be easily solve through the technological communication as they are
the fastest way to bridge the gap between the people.
It is also been noticed that the mobile devices are replacing every item with time. A
single mobile phone can now perform multiple tasks and activities for which the person has to
buy another device for that particular features or item (Zheng and et. al., 2015.). Therefore these
advance technology and technological devices is helping the employees in bringing the balance
in the work and their life. Although this also has benefited the organisation as their cost for the
rent and electricity has got decreased, their employee turnover ratio has decreased to a great
extent, employee absenteeism has also decreased and so on.
CONCLUSION
From the report discuss above, the importance and the benefit which the company has
with respect to the use of technology and technological devices has been mentioned. Through the
allowances of such the employees can balance their work and personal life very well. This also
has helped the organisation in decrease of employee turnover ratio, absenteeism and etc.
