To make the reflective journals, the study includes the reflective model of Gibbs. In 1988 the
American Sociologist Graham Gibbs published a reflective model. This model helps in
managing the experiences which a person gains and can be structured in different phases. In
order to show the reflective journals that are related to enhance the performance based on work-
life context. These stages are explained below:
Description: During my working experience in NHS, I analyse that working effectively
in the health department gains a wider range of performance and makes an effective
content to complete work. I worked in NHS and here, I enhance my learning skills that
gain the performance evaluation in an effective manner. This module helps to gain wider
range of opportunities in workplace environment and have motivated feelings.
Feelings: I feel that during the completion of the process, I try to manage work and
achieve wider range of sources in different analysing the sources and gain different skills
related to health and social care. I gain a wider range of knowledge about my work and
analyse the skills which are not covered during my academic period. I and my team are
able to complete all my assignments on time and achieve the organization’s target and
enhance their growth in an effective way.
Evaluation: All the activities and work objectives are going well and complete effective
way to achieve my targets before the target dates. Skills that I have gained during the
working environment are communication, advanced use of technology, public
presentation, and other skills. But at the same time, I am not able to manage my team by
taking appropriate decisions on time. I found issues in managing my decisions related to
me or the team.
Analysis: I have learned different aspects of working in NHS, analysing the data which
are provided by NHS related to their staff. Evaluate those key statistics and provide
healthy well-being to the other people of the company. This is further helpful in
managing the work and completing my performance growth on the basis of the NHS
process.
