This report presents an analysis of employee work satisfaction at Hong Leong Assurance (HLA) in Georgetown, Penang, based on a survey of 150 employees. The study examined the impact of various factors, including work-life balance, career development opportunities, working environment, and leadership, on employee work satisfaction. Data analysis involved frequency distributions, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Key findings revealed positive correlations between work satisfaction and the aforementioned factors, with work-life balance having the most significant impact. The report also explored demographic variables such as gender, age, job position, years of experience, and education level, identifying significant differences in work satisfaction across different experience levels and educational backgrounds. The study concluded that leadership and other factors significantly predict employee work satisfaction, contributing to a deeper understanding of the workplace dynamics within HLA and highlighting areas for potential improvement. The study acknowledged limitations, such as not addressing life satisfaction and the working status of employees, suggesting avenues for future research.
