The present research work is intended to assess the impact of
work stress on employee performance in tele communication
sector. It is based on an undertaken case study of a well-
known Malaysian enterprise named Digi telecom. This has
demonstrated the fact of getting affected from a negative work
environ which is full of stress and hassled work, impacting
upon the carried performance of the employees to a great
extent. Resolving the same is important to bring productive
outcomes by performing well and in an opportune manner.
The chosen topic reflected a subjective nature with below
specified procedure that will be carried out to undertake this
study-
Methodology- This is mainly on considering the
subjective nature of this research topic, a qualitative
method of research will be chosen to generate
potential results at the end. On whose basis, the
investigator will refer to choose other associated
measures to carry out this study, that involves, the
analytical method, data collection and sampling, etc.
Beside this, the design of this research will be
exploratory in nature and will be based on a selected
philosophy of interpretivism.
Theoretical approaches- This is on considering the
type of research approach that will be applicable to
conduct this study. There exist 2 common approaches
namely inductive and deductive where the current
research will be suitably done using an inductive
approach. This is basically in accordance to the nature
of the undertaken study that is apparent to have a
broad proposition, meeting the norms of an inductive
research. Deductive approach of research on other
hand tends to reduce the overall scope of the study by
narrowing its base to a great extent. It is thereby in
accordance to the undertaken topic of this
investigation, inductive research approach is suitable
to conduct this investigation.

Details of participant population
Recruitment- This is basically to discuss upon the
undertaken method of collecting data and sampling
where the present research is qualitative in nature.
Considering the same, it has predicted the significance
of gathering data through both primary and secondary
measures. The primary data will be collected via a
focussed group interview that will be arranged to
directly collect the information from the participant
respondents. For this, a purposive approach of
sampling will be chosen to select the participants from
the selected company called Digi telecom. Herein, 100
employees of Digi Telecom will be interviewed as the
wiling respondents of this study with no forceful
consent to contribute in the research.
Inclusion & exclusion criteria- This is to demonstrate
the selected criteria of including or excluding the
resources with a special concern of referring to the
secondary sources of information. Herein, previously
carried studies that are prior to 2010 will not be taken
into consideration. Also, articles written only in
English language will be referred to carry out this

This is on considering the fact of dealing with a hectic
professional as well as personal work schedule where the
workers employed in an organization are truly facing
numerous challenges to work at a faster pace. It is also due to
a target based job with plentiful responsibility on the workers
appointed at any organizational level to help in accelerating
the business. Although, this study has aimed to find out ways
in which one can tend to reduce such stressful environment at
work by lowering down the work pressure. Also, it will
describe certain useful measures to come up with solutions
that are efficient to reduce the likelihood of stress at work. By
which, the employees will be able to perform well and give
productive outcomes to ultimately enhance the business
prospective.
