INTRODUCTION

research for the purpose of effective accomplishment of organisational goals and objectives.
Diversity and inclusion are two concepts that are required to manage positively in an
organisation (Bouncken and Reuschl, 2018). Workers from different cultures and background are
having varied needs and expectations that might create some kind of conflicts and tensions
within a workplace. So company's management need to establish positive and inclusive working
environment in order to avoid stress and conflicts. For this purpose, Sollatek Ltd. is chosen
which deals in voltage protection, energy saving and power control with emphasise on protecting
electronic equipments against unstable voltages. This project covers a detail investigation that is
conducted by organisation towards the appropriate strategies and initiatives in order to build
diverse as well as inclusive workers. It includes specific aims, objectives, questions and project
management plan on the basis of project titles. Also, Gantt chart and WBS is prepared for
conducting small scale research by using data collection and research methodologies.

Company background:
The Sollatek was established in 1983 with a patented design for the automatic voltage
switcher which has become the world leading manufacturer of specialist products in order to
secure the electronic tools of consumers and industries as well. The Sollatek Ltd. has their
offices of distribution network in around 30 nations across the world.
Aim:
The main aim of this project report is “To identify appropriate strategies and initiatives in
order to develop diverse and inclusive employees at workplace of organisation.”

Project management plan defined as a process of analysing and measuring different
sources that helps in completing the research and it shows all the phases of tasks in well manner
(Bryson, 2018). There are several components that are considered while preparing PMP such as
cost, resources, time, risk, communication, quality, time etc. Also, planning, controlling as well
as closing the project activities are defined as a stages of this plan that helps Sollatek to
formulate appropriate strategies and policies.
Cost: For conducting research activity researcher require to analyse entire cost that will
incur while doing research. As they need to collect detailed information on a specific topic for
which they appoint a team and required resources also. So, investigator prepare an appropriate

of each tasks in which project activities will be completed. As researcher assigned proper time to
all the activities by using WBS and Gantt chart. The investigator needs 2 months for gathering

connection, phones and so many that will be provided to the research team so that they can
effectively communicate with each other and collect appropriate and valuable information.

that are facilitated to the employees in order to ensures the successful completion of project
activities (Honeyman and Jana, 2019). WBS helps project manager in bringing improvements in

tasks effectively. It also shows by graph or charts that represents time slots of all activities and
provide a clear time frames.
Gantt chart: It is a graphical presentation of a project that assists in showing the
interrelatedness among all the activities. This will help in facilitating several information related
to the time of tasks completion and with the use of Gantt chart researcher aids in completing
their investigation tasks on time. Whereas, project manager is provided with an overview of time
frames and activities for performing activities on time and complete project effectively and
successfully which results in appropriately accomplishment of tasks (O’SULLIVAN1a and
KEARNEY, 2018).

focused on the collection of reliable as well as authentic informations so that company can be
take appropriate decisions (Rao and Roberts, 2018). Mainly two types of methods for data
collection which are used by researcher such includes:
Qualitative research: It can be done through the open ended communication and
conversational form in which investigator collects detailed information on a particular topic. It
helps in understanding about the information of individual behaviours, attitudes as well as

perception and these form of data is in theoretical form that is hard to presents on graphs, charts,
tables etc. It includes interview, case analysis, focus group and so forth methodologies of
research.
Quantitative research: It is mainly emphasised on the nature of entire population instead
of an individual by using a close ended communication or questions and less focused towards the
individual attributes and perception. This type of research is well structured in terms of numeric
data collection that can be shown on graphs or in tables so that company can be able to make
effective decisions. Some of the methods are questionnaires, polls and surveys.
Sources of data collection:
It is defined as a origin of data collection through which research is conducted. Basically
two sources such are discussed as follows:
Primary sources: In this source, data is to be gathered as a first hand information with an
