INTRODUCTION
Human resources is one the integral part of the today's organization. Especially in retail
company (Adhish, Deshmukh and Kumar, 2014) With the help of HR firm is able to perform
many functions such as recruiting, selection and conduct training and development programs for
employees. It teaches with the best process and practices used for selecting employees for
different departments. HR also helps to organization for to maintain their legal issues during the
selection and recruitment. Selection and recruitment process should be always fair for every
individual who apply for vacant positions so the each employees get equal chance to perform
their tasks and grab new opportunities of business. From the research its found that management
and leadership both are different aspects, but work towards common goal that is to ensure long
term growth of entity (Burnett, 2013). Working with leading people is consists important role in
firm. Leaders of company helps to employees for improving their skills and knowledge. The
presents report is based on working with leading people in organization. In every organization
leaders have some specific goal and skills which helps to them for motivating workers. The
present report is based on the Morrison Plc which is UK based super market. The firm is one of
the leading retail company in UK. The firm is founded in 1899 which was primary located north
of England. In2 004 after, takeover of SafeWay, the firm is increased significantly. In 2014,
company had more than 515 superstores across England (Bush, and Middlewood, 2013) Entity is
offering all types of retail goods such as food, cloths etc. but the main area of business is offering
the food items. The firm is known for its quality of food with low costs. The presents report
make analysis recruiting staff for Morrison company in which HR manager make documentation
for selecting employees. It also makes analysis on the all the legal and ethical consideration
while selecting workers (Evans, 2016). It also makes analysis on skills which are required for
leadership along with it make difference between leaderships and management skills. Moreover,
this report make analysis on different types of leadership styles which are use by leaders of
Morrison company in different situations and ways to motivating employees by using different
types of motivational theory. The report make analysis on benefits of team working of
organization and also make analysis on role of leader to sloving the conflicts among the in
difficult situations it also make review on effectiveness of team Adhish, Deshmukh and Kumar,

In respect to recruit a new staff member within Morrison company, can use of advance
technology. Morrisons company is one of the leading retail company (Goetsch, and Davis 2014).

1.2 Impact of the legal, regulatory and ethical considerations in recruitment and
selection process
In UK there are various types of laws which apply to every organization (Leavy, 2014).
Morrison is retail company and its main business operations are conducted in UK. So
organization have to follow certain rules and regulation which are statutory in nature. Following
are laws which apply on Morrisions company.
Equality regulation Act, 2010
As according to this act, every employees which are working in company have equal
rights. This act protected employees from discrimination on workplace and unfair treatment. For
recruiting a new staff member in organization, this law will apply (Lev, 2013.)So HR of
Morrison have to give equal chances to all applicants who meet the requirements of vacant
position.
Minimum wage rate Act, 1998
As according to this act, every persons who are working in a corporate sector have rights
to receive minimum wages (MacKian, and Simons, 2013). This act apply to every types of
employee whether working as full-time or part-time employee. This act give protection give right

As a general manager of the Morrison company, take part in selection process of the
company by using various methods such as short listing, interview Through this method I take
part in interview and make it effective . Participation which I make in selection process.

In order to make an interview more effective in Morrison company I make short list for
all candidates who gives their application for vacant position. For making short listing of
candidates I make analysis of applicants profile and then select to those candidates who fulfill all
requirements of vacant positions . Along with this I use various types of methods like check their
IQ level, conduct written examination and then conduct personal interview.

In order to make get more effective results, I also take part in interview which are short
listed. I make arrangement to taking interview program for different candidates regrading their
knowledge and cultural background. Through this I become able to know more about the
candidates and gain knowledge regarding to them which help to Morrison company for
achieving their business objectives.

For making interview process more effective I make different types of contribution. In
selection process I use various types of sources for hiring employees such as use of e recruitment
method . Through which I become able top assess to gather more information regrading to
applicants. Contribution which I make in selection process.

For making recruiting process more effective I use E recruiting method in which I select
employee by using different plant from such as social media or online recruiting portal. This is
the most appropriate method because it is very cost and time effective method. Through this
approach I gain complete knowledge regrading to them and from this online plat from I got more
skilled workers for job.
