INTRODUCTION
Troubled teens are the children who face wide array of emotional and behavioural issues in
adolescence. They have mental health issues like anxiety or depression due to which they are not
able to learn effectively and face difficulties. Today, in the situation of spread of corona virus
pandemic, the mental health of people has been declining which creates numerous issues for the
students in learning. The students cannot be able to concentrate to full capacity because of
concerns of safety as well as uncertainty with National lock down. This academic year is
different for the students to what they have previously experienced and such transformation is
bound to affect their great and performance. They seem to feel disoriented from their studies as
on 1st November, National lockdown has been announced however schools have still open,
sparking major debate online. In the situations, students feel that they are being forced to go to
school when everything is closed. In addition to these issues, they also progress and link to
current issues like depression, dealing with family, mental health, abuse etc. All such factors
significantly influence not only their academic development, but more importantly their personal
development also. However, there are various ways through which troubled teenagers can get
assistance in achieving their academic progress. This project aims to analyse the various ways to
help troubled teenagers in their academic progress.
Research Aim
The aim associated with the specific study is “To analyse the various ways to help troubled
teenagers in their academic progress.”

The different objectives in relation to this particular study are provided below:
