INTRODUCTION
Effective communication refers to less talking and listening more what someone is
saying. It means that listening carefully to other person and then solve the issue. If
communication will not be effective then it can create misunderstanding and conflicts may arise
because proper interaction is not done (Canel and Luoma-aho, 2018). Listening well helps in
understanding clearly what others want to convey or say. There are some ways to effective
communication are, be positive, be a good listener, be a mirror, be real. There are four types of
communication i.e., verbal, non verbal, written and visual.

Communication is the way by which one can interact with other and convey things. It is a
process in which information is communicated with from one place to another. Communication
is important as it helps in understanding what people want to say and this helps in proper
working in the organization. It means that people can express their needs and concerns with
other. Generally, there are four types of communication are, verbal, nonverbal, written and
visual. These are important because it helps in achieving goals and objectives of the company.
Communicating with people helps in expressing their ideas and feelings, give suggestions for
future growth (Casoria, Riedl and Werner, 2020).
It also helps in understanding emotion and thoughts what others want to say. It helps in making
good relationship between employees and management. It develops a mind set about behavior of
other person and create positive or negative relationship among people. Individual
communication is important because it helps in decision making and planning, smooth and
efficient working of an organization, helps in coordination, increases managerial efficiency,
promotes co-operation. Communication is a process that helps in sharing feeling, thoughts,
experience, ideas, suggestions, feedback etc. In process of communication there are many
elements that are involved i.e., receiver, message, sender, feedback which are having their own
role and responsibilities. Some better ways to understand individual communication at workplace
are :

in work as there will be lot of disturbance and all the members will not able to communicate

Pay attention to body language - Body language is important because it helps in understanding
what a person want to convey or say. Sometimes, actions or body language is more easy to
understand rather than words. When interacting with someone it is important to listen carefully
but also notice body language of the person because sometimes person says something and the
meaning of the line is different.
Consider communication preferences - The way or method of communication should be proper

issues, alcohols, and many other, in this situations a person should stay calm and relax to handle
the situation in a better way. These are the situations in which decision should be taken after
sometime and analyzing the condition properly. Relevant information should evaluate collected
and on the basis of that decision should be made. Feelings and emotions of a person should not
be affected by the decision (Touhidul and Sorooshian, 2019).
