employees. The various ways through company can develop their connection with the
employees are :-
Putting employees first- it is considered that whether it is any kind of organisation or
employees are working at any level, all of them needs to be respected and valued for the
contribution they give to the company. So, management can respect them in many ways
like respecting opinions, time, culture etc.
Creating a safe heaven – If ABC company wants that employees should behave well or
perform well then they should first focus on improving their way of treating employees.
If the senior people will shout, bully, threaten the employees then employees will not feel
comfortable or safe inside the company and thus they will not be feel connected. So, it is
the core responsibility of management to make sure that the employees feel safe an
secure inside the company.
Breaking down barriers to information – Whenever an information needs to be
communicated then it has to go through various levels and then it finally reaches the
concerned employee. So, it is required that the employees should be communicated all
the required information on time so that they know what is going on in the company
(Ruck and Welch, 2012).

the decision making of company. This will help them in connecting with the company
more strongly.
5. Connection Driving Employee engagement
Connection can be considered as a basic need of humans. It is said that the employees
who refer their company as 'we' are more connected than those who refer it as 'they'. When an
employee is into the work that company is doing then if the employee is connected with the
company then they will take part in the program with full dedication (Shuck and Wollard, 2010).
If they will not be connected then they will remove themselves from the situation. Connection
manifests as a feeling that employee is having about the company. They various types of
connection that drives employee engagement are :-
FIT – It means that the employee is perfectly set in culture or environment made by
employer. This is a type of appreciation for the physical artifacts in workplace. If an
employee has fit in the organisation very easily then it means that employee is having
people who are of same background or culture. This helps them in co0nnectring with
company and its employees very easily.
BELONGING – If the concerned employee is happy in the company then they slowly
believes that they belong this company only. They can easily share their values and
knowledge with the other members of the company. So, if the employee will be fit and
belonging towards the company then they will be able to give positive results to the
company.
INTEGRATION – It is said that once an employee feels that they belong to the
organisation, they become an integral part of the company (Sias and et. al., 2012). So, it
can be said in other manner as well like rather than just being part of company, company
is being a part of who they are.
