dependent on what you want to achieve from it. It is important that you choose a topic that really interests you.
Without this interest you will not have the motivation to do all that is necessary to complete your project
satisfactorily.
Remember your project will be a research report not an essay. You need to set yourself a question for which
you will need to collect data in order to find the answers. Select a topic title that points you clearly in the right
direction of an investigation rather than a general area to write about.

In this research general area which will going to be explore is equality and diversity in reducing
workplace discrimination.

Research Aim: “To determine the influence of equality and diversity practices in reducing workplace
discrimination within an organisation.” A Case study on SOHO Wholesale
Research objectives
 To understand the concept of workplace discrimination.
 To determine several benefits that SOHO Wholesale will obtain by elimination of workplace
discrimination.
 To find out ways through which equality and diversity practices for reducing workplace discrimination.
3. Why do you want to do this particular project?
Thinking beyond the aim contained in your title, what do you hope to achieve for yourself as a result of doing
this project? E.g. Help your career; develop your understanding of a particular management or business
process; develop your ability to tackle management or business problems.
This research will help me in gathering deep knowledge related to the equality and diversity as it is my
interested area. Along with this, by conducting research I will be able to gather knowledge in respective area
within more effective manner which will help me in conducting research also in future.

E.g. Is it a problem you want to find a solution for? Is there something you have observed that you want to
explain? Is there some behaviour or activity that you want to evaluate?
There are some problem also which faced by researcher while conducting research in appropriate time
as well as lack of funds.
5. In order to answer the question of your title, what information do you think you will need to
obtain?

Consider both your main purpose and factors related to it or likely to be affecting it. This list of information will
be your starting point for deciding your research objectives.
There is requirement of gathering several information for conducting research on the topic i.e., equality
and diversity for reducing workplace discrimination.
6. Finally, what sources of data do you think you might draw on to get your information?
E.g. Observation, Newspapers, Journal articles, Trade press Advertisements, People-using interviews or
questionnaires, Government statistics or other Documents.
In this research information will gather through primary as well as secondary sources. For primary
sources questionnaire will be conduct as well as several other secondary sources also such as books,
