INTRODUCTION
Globalization enhances the Multinational companies to address the equality and diversity
issues not only to survive but also regarding gain the competitive advantage. So with the increase
of the globalization there is an increase of the communication between the individuals from all
over the world as because of the globalization firms have seen various diversification regarding
their work (Bain, 2017). At the same time capitalizing and maximizing the diversity of
workplace is a crucial issues regarding management. Firms as well as their management requires
to adjust their employees withing the evolving as well as changing. Managing equality and
diversity is crucial challenge of the firm ,so the managers of the firm need to adapt the culture
that is multicultural so that various employees of the different background share their opinion.
Leadership also plays a crucial role to address the issues of the diversity within the firms as the
leadership involvement can address the various issues related to the diversity that are crucial for
the firm to have the positive influence on the behavior of the firm. The managers of the firm
must be aware about the cultural biases and also the prejudices so that they can easily accept the
change within the firm;s environment regarding the workforce (Fletcher, 2017).
Background
Within the United Kingdom there are various firms that are legally needed to stick to
some practices to assure the discrimination that is eliminated as well as expectations of the
equality are met within the firms. All the employees should be treated equally well as given the
same set of the opportunities instead of focusing on the age, gender, culture, beliefs and
disability (Mehta and et..al., 2018).

Diversity and equality defined as it assures that every individual posses equal
opportunities, and they are not discriminated within the firm on the basis of their gender, age,
beliefs and many more. Thus, this research will aids to scholar to research the depth
investigation on the topic such as Diversity and Equality.
This research assists scholar to focuses on the study regarding equality that assists to
decreases the discrimination within workplaces. With the guidance of this research, scholar can
understand the significance of the topic regarding diversity and equality that will influence of
working within the firm (Mohajan, 2018).
Significance- The significance of this report is that by applying equality and diversity helps
other firms like Tesco, Tesla and M&S. Also, it will be useful for other them to implement and
apply strategies and policies to equality and diversity in culture. Moreover, other scholars will be
able to conduct study on other elements such as factors that impact employee behavior in
negative way. Alongside, in other areas as well like theory or concept of behavior with culture
(Clandinin, Cave and Berendonk, 2017).

These are the strategies that can be used to gather the information as well as assist to
create the better understanding regarding topic.

Equality act, sex discrimination act, Race relation act, Human rights Acts, Disability
discrimination act and many more. Equality is also means that the people are treated equally
without rely on the Stereotypes thinking. Within the terms of organizational approach by
appreciating and understanding the various skills within the workforce, the firm as the
opportunities regarding the employer of their own choice. Within the United Kingdom
legislation needed that all the Jobs opportunities to strictly follow the guidelines regarding the
Equality. Many firms have their own policy as well as procedures as these are the policies that
can prevent various employment polices such as Male employees being paid more as compare to
the women. Within the United kingdom there various firms have disclosed the information
regarding the gender pay gaps.
As per the view of Schachner, (2019). a diverse workforce breaks downs the language
barriers as English is considered as a popular language but it is not the only language that a
business requires fluency of forms are offering the global consumer services. The staff members

advanced levels also assists to take the business to the new shores. If a firm has the workers from
the multiple nations than they are so relatable from the larger audiences all over the world. It is
