members of an organisation. Therefore, equality and diversity are two terms that are effective in

over the performance of employees at work place, thus company needs to ensure their staff
members for providing equal opportunity to grow and gain higher growth and success (Bell and
Harrison, 2018). Organizations have to be judicious in regards to managing its workforce as the
work environment is undergoing a massive metamorphosis. Thus, businesses are requires to
manage equality in work place in order to improvising the Performance of the staff members,
therefore, it turns in leading the firm towards attaining higher growth. In this present
investigation work, study is conducted over LIDL, thus it is a German global discount
supermarket chain (Obeidat, Mitchell and Bray, 2016). Josef Schwarz found the company in the
year of 1930 . The headquarter of the company is located in Neckarsulm, Germany, the company
is mainly operated through its discount stores and mainly known for its high discount of retail
products, Therefore, the company is having around 315000 employees who are contributing
towards the growth or success of the business. The scope of the study is broad as it is effective
in exploring the knowledge of the researcher in the area of equality along with diversity
(Bryson, 2017). Therefore, the main purpose of conducting the research is the researcher wants
to enhance personal and professional skills, which would be effectual for them in putting efforts
in their future projects in more liable manner.
