Addressing differences is inevitable while
facing any kind of challenges at the
workplace. In my opinion, if any worker is
facing difficulties in the workplace then
he/she should address the problem clearly
and promptly. I think reporting to the
concerned person in the first place will be the
correct decision as it is necessary to have an
open conversation with the person concerned.
Going public or informing my friends
beforehand will not be helpful as it will
create unnecessary commotion. There is also
a chance of them not believing me in the first
place. It is better to talk to the supervisor first
and ask for advice. Keeping quiet can create
serious issues later. Moreover, supporting this
issue will be unethical. In the meantime, I
will collect some evidences regarding this
issue to establish my point. If the actions are
not taken by the supervisor, in accordance
with the situation, then I will inform my
friends who are also deprived from their
rights.

why?
Organizational Challenges
One of the main challenges of in a
workplace is the management’s
discrimination and prejudice. It
affects the team effectiveness and
work productivity which leads to
the company’s downfall. Negative
behaviors and attitudes that
include stereotyping,
discrimination and prejudice can
be a barrier to the organizational
workforce as they harm working
relationships and morale. Such
attitudes should never be applied
by the managers of any
organization for hiring and
terminating its employees. In this
case I am not wrong, the
organizational behavior is
unethical. It is my duty to raise
my voice, rather than keeping
quiet.
ACS Code of Ethics
According to the ACS Code of
Professional Conduct, it is important
to be honest and impartial in order to
maintain the standard and
effectiveness at the workplace. It is
necessary for the supervisors to
maintain loyalty among the
company. I would raise these points
to establish my actions and question
the value system of the organization.
Moreover, an organization cannot be
impartial and prioritize any of the
employees. I would raise the
question here on how the
organization can be biased towards
someone on the basis of his/her
internal sources (Burmeister, 2012).
The organization is knowingly or
unknowingly depriving others’ from
their rights, therefore, I will raise this
unethical issue. Treating each and
everyone equally is the duty of the
management. In this situation the
organization is misleading other
employees by their biased approach.
This is very unprofessional and
unethical on the organization’s part. I
will raise all of these issues which
will support my actions as referred to
the ACS Code of Ethics (McDermid,
2015).
