Part A: Review of Innovation in the Workplace
Collaboration and Teamwork
According to workplace, no worker was allowed to do major tasks individually. To complete
most tasks all employees were expected to participate effectively in consideration of the main
objective goal of the entire organization. Through effective teamwork, most of the problems in
the organization were effectively solved thus saving even more time and resources.
Learning Opportunities
With the interrelation of one another, most of us were able to learn from one another and thus
enhancing our mode of perception in many things which helped in personal and professional
development. The understanding of another and oneself was perceived as key attribute in
innovation and development of the company.
Ideas Creation and Evaluation
To solve most of the challenges mostly we would utilize brainstorming as our key tool and
personal presentation where everyone had a chance to view his or her idea in front of the whole
management. If an idea was good, there were several approaches in minimize risk and losses
before it was fully implemented. Some of the several methods such as brainstorming really
solved a lot of challenges than most of the strategies used.

During the implementation of a task or project, all the employees were allocated roles to play
which were considered to be very important. The coordination of the employees at this point was
considered to very important as one of the major way of improving innovation in the workforce.
Culture and Communication
The organization culture was one of the most effective in the management where most of the
employee were more than friendly to one another and always motivated in performing better in
the workplace. As key innovation strategy this is one of the most important aspects that I
considered to help in the improvement of innovation at the workplace.
Part B: Physical Environment Assessment
Design
The office layout was an open where it was designed to improve the communication process
between the employees and sharing of ideas. Despite, the space was bit congested, it had good
flow of air and unnecessary noise was also controlled. One of the major ways the office designed
could be improved in creating room for personal reflection space which is considered as very
tool in enhancing innovation in the workplace.
Fit Out and Decoration
The quality of the working environment is one of the best traits of the physical environment.
Factors such as enough working space, gears, machinery were mostly readily available. The
quality of the decoration also really portrayed good organization image and the required
comfortability during working. The required improvements should focus on replacing some of

the old equipment’s such as Air Conditioners and computers. The management should also
consider repainting the entire building more regularly.
