Workplace Policies refers to the set of rules and regulations which are important for the
effective working and performance of an organisation in the environment (Surmeier, 2018). The
assignment will make its focus on answering written questions, sustainability project and policy,

in regards to sustainability. Therefore, a small initiative taken by us could help our environment
in a short span. Here, turning off lights and electronics would directly aid us in saving the

Analysis of staff survey results and achievements against targets
On the basis of staff survey result sit can be said that various staff members are aware of
the initiatives which organisation is taking for their staff. When asked to respondents about
initiatives they most of them responded that recycling is the most popular initiative which
company is taking. From the reaction it was also noticed that most of the employees feel that
sustainability is a very important concept at workplace. When asked about improvements to be
done in sustainability areas there were different answers and there was no one point in common.
Analysis of energy audit data and achievements against targets
On the basis of energy data it can be concluded that company has been successful in
making initiatives for conservation of energy and they have been able to achieve set targets. Such
as various recycling measures have been adopted by them. These have been carefully observed
by all employees in the company. Still there are some who feel that more awareness needs to be
created for that employees feel the need for training programs. This will assist company in
successfully achievement of laid objectives in context of sustainability(Makarova, Shubenkova
and Boyko).

Recommendations for additional actions that need to be taken based on a review of the data
On the basis of review data, when it was asked to the respondents what are various areas
of improvement it was observed that more training has to be provided to employees to increase
efficiency and awareness, senior management of the company has to become more supportive for
employees. A respondent also said that brainstorming meetings should organised by company so
that awareness and level of commitment can be increase in employees.
Summary of success of sustainability policy and procedure based on analysis.
From the analysis of the reaction of respondents it can be seen that company has been
quite successful in adopting sustainability measures at workplace. Also, all the respondents
highlighted various measures which company is taking at the workplace, this includes saving of
electricity, saving of water, regular energy audits all such measures have been successfully
implemented by company.

From the reaction of respondents it can be said that there are many areas in which
improvements are needed. One of respondents said that there is need for a compost bin in
kitchen. Also, it has been observed that there is not much awareness among employees so efforts
should be made to make them aware about the importance of sustainability in company.
