Communication Strategy for JKL Industry
Communication strategy is the strategy developed in order to have effective communication within and
outside the organization. The communication strategy is developed by keeping in mind the various issues
and the problems being faced by the organization and the employees working in the organization along
with the respective consumers. For the JKL industry I would like to recommend the usage of modern
technology along with making the social media presence relating to the company because, with the
growing technology, it is important that optimum utilization of the technology is done.
It is mentioned that JKL industry is having a problem with responding to the needs of the customers
internally as well as externally. Also, the social media presence of the industry is not at all active. So, as
the communication strategy, I would recommend that an organization should start making the online
presence by being socially active on various social media platforms because it will help in making
interaction with the consumers. Also, with the interaction, the organization will be able to understand the
needs and requirements of the consumers (Banatwala, et. al., 2019).

in the organization (Chung, et. al., 2015).
Upward Grievance Procedure: This is the grievance procedure under which the employers
communicate with the employees downwardly.
Downward Grievance Procedure: This is the grievance procedure under which the employees can
communicate about their problem to the upper authorities by discussing their problems or issues (Mazzei
and Ravazzani, 2015).

Answer 1: As per the norms and policies of the JKL organization it is clearly stated that all the
employees who are working in the organization must be treated equally irrespective of their caste, creed
or any kind of religion. So, this situation of employees feeling excluded must be corrected by making sure
that all the employees must feel that they are part of the organization. The JKL organization must follow
the policy of Diversification because under this policy the employees coming from different backgrounds
and religions will be equal and same. Also, the employees and other co-workers have no right to make
them feel different. Also, as a suggestion from next time, if an employee is facing any such problem then
the respective managers will be held responsible and strict action against them will be taken (Lucas and
Rawlins, 2015).
Answer 2: To address this issue, the meeting must be conducted with all the respective employees that
include all the members of the team so that face to face discussion can be done. In this meeting the
employees will be given clear instructions regarding the policies of the organization under which the
employees will be informed that they should treat the other co-workers equally and should not create any
such issues because it disturbs the environment of the organization which is not considered to be healthy
for the successful growth and development of the organization. The communication style chosen is the
meeting because this conversation is to be done face to face so that employees can be serious and follow
the company policies seriously (Cardon and Marshall, 2015).
Answer 3: Networking plays a very important role in communication. As a new manager, I’m not well
familiar with the other employees and managers for which it is important for me to make effective
interaction with other co-workers and with the external consumers. So, for the communication within the
organization having meetings and interactions with the respective employees can be helpful in knowing
better. Also, conducting small activities within office hours will also be helpful in knowing about the
employees. For the interaction with the consumers, social media networking will be a great idea as it will
be helpful in underrating the nature of the consumers along with their requirements.
Answer 4: For the situation which Sam is facing with the suppliers, it is important for Sam to understand
the nature of suppliers which can be done by having effective networking and developing strategies
related to networking that includes he should communicate with them often so that there is no confusion,
also he should always be clearly related to their pay accounts because delay in payment creates a serious
problem. So, regular communication and prompt account payments are two solutions for Sam.
For Alex, as she is facing a problem with the customers, it is important for Alex to understand the nature
of customers that can be done by providing them with the constant customer support and also the opinions
of the customers should always be welcomed because otherwise the employees feel ignored and this
affects the sales of the organization (Park, et. al., 2017).

In this report, I’m playing the role of HR business partner of the JKL organization in the Brisbane branch.
It is my responsibility to provide the organization with the information related to the team leaders,
managers and the employees of that particular branch relating to the training and development. As the HR
business partner, it is my duty to make sure that all the employees in the organization are provided with
effective training so that the employees are capable to perform better and deliver the best outputs. By
performing the role of HR business partner I’ll make sure of the following roles and responsibilities
(Crane and Glozer, 2016).
I will be providing a solution related to the human resource related issues like in this scenario there is
a dispute among the members of the team. So, for this, it is important that the reason for the dispute is
identified and analysis of the situation is done by finding out how the dispute can be solved.
I will also be providing the management with the value-added services.
I will be conducting regular meetings with the various business units so that the problems of different
units can be well identified.
Day to day performance management of the employees must be provided from my side.
Special contracts and promotions for the employees must be set up as the HR partner.
The training needs for the multiple business units will be identified and executive coaching and
training must be provided to the employees.
Evaluation and monitoring of the various training programs will be done that will be helpful in the
identification of problems if any (Merkl-Davies and Brennan, 2017).
