Trucks N Cars is a car dealership business based in Melbourne.
Staff employed in the business include the CEO, Operations Manager, two Senior Management
Consultants, two motor mechanics and an Administration Officer. There are also four marketing
consultants who work from the office at least 1 day a week each and when they are not on the
road they work from home. All of the management consultants travel extensively across Victoria
visiting clients.
Trucks N Cars has an existing Health and Safety Policy and various procedures but as the
organisation has expanded and more people are travelling and working from home, the CEO
believes that it is time to update the existing policy and expand the procedures to include fatigue
management and working from home.
The CEO has identified a number of areas that need to be updated:
