INTRODUCTION
Incidents, in case of health and safety occurrences and property damage have the high
human and financial cost. The main purpose of investigation at workplace incidents is the
ascertain both immediate and underlying causes as well as put in place measures to prevent a co-
occurrence. This is the main process which involves a systematic examination of the
circumstances of incident, at the workplace activities which are taking place at the time, plant
and equipment in use at the time and any supporting various materials like existing risk
assessment and control standard as well as legal obligations. The present study is based on “BGC
– Buckeridge group of companies” which deals with mining and civil construction. The report
will explain the different activities which are related to health and safety at workplace.

the fixed and step by step process and course of action that must be followed in the same order.
A workplace incident may be means that each or all of the people have been injured and made
unwell worker at workplace in proper manner (Bennett, Dexter and Sakoulas, 2016). This
procedure for incidents investigation includes the identification of resource available for incident
investigation and business policy.
2. Sections founds in a procedure.
There are different types of section which are found in investigation procedure which are
as follows:
 The business policy or investigation
 Identification of person who are responsible for taking it and available resources
 Proper and specification of time frame of conducted investigations
 Guidance and detail information.
This will need the proper and effective documents and approval for business in order to
investigate incident at workplace.
3. Steps, relating to investigation in health and safety.
The steps which are relating to investigation of health and safety are as follows:
