INTRODUCTION
In a professional life, a person has to learn and gain knowledge about skills and abilities
that are required in working. It is important to maintain balance between personal and
professional life. This helps in acquiring skills from different sources. Also, it is essential to set
some particular goals so that career growth can be done. through this, opportunities are created
and grabbed by learning various skills. this report consists of different task in which shows how
goals are set and achieved. Also, it discusses about a personal development plan to acquire skills
in specific job role in company. Moreover, it is described about development opportunities that
enable in becoming a professional person.

Part A Research priority management tools
1) It is very essential for manager in every company to effectively manage employees and work.
This is because it helps in attaining prioritise goals and developing schedule. besides this, by
using technological tools and equipment’s it becomes easy to develop plans. There are several
tools that can be used by manager. They are as follows :
Excel templates- this is the most common tool used by manager in developing plan. Here,
activities are written with their start and end time (Realo and et.al., 2018). This gives an insight
to manager in assisting employees and categorising work. It also helps in assigning task to
employees.
Statsmix- it is an online tool that assist manager in easier working. In this work and its status can
be viewed on real time basis. also, it gives a glance and deeper understanding of KPI. By using
it, manager can prioritise activities and develop plan accordingly.
Google calendar- this tool is developed by MNC Google which can be operated both on
smartphones as well as laptops. Here, a complete calendar is there where manager can plan
activities of every day. It enables manager in proper planning schedule. also, it contains an alarm
system that activates at time of doing activity.
2) preparing of schedule gives give an idea on what activities has to done first and so on. It helps
in systematic working of single day.

3) due to a meeting the whole schedule prepared was modified. It resulted in change of activities
and this affected working hours. Also, the work life balance was interrupted. Therefore changes
were made in schedule that is as follows :-
The schedule is developed to maintain work life balance. also, it will support in making

1) Every human being faces some stress that is related to his or her work. The person be a
businessman, manager or employee working in organisation. but among them employees face a
lot of stress as they have to maintain balance between personal and professional life. This is
because it is very difficult to spend time with family, friends, etc. after working from 10-6. For
an employee personal is as much important as professional one (Chung and Hsu, 2017). It helps
in enjoying life and other functions. In recent times, employees are not able to work freely. Due
to this they are suffering from a high level of stress. This has impacted on their mental and
physical health as well. There are some signs through which stress can be identified. These are as
follows-
Signs :-
ï‚· Headache- it is the most common sign of stress in which a person suffers from intense
pain. He or she become habitual of taking drugs for getting some sleep.
 Low energy – in this a person feel low on energy and is not able to work in effective
way. the entire body feels weak.
 Difficulty in decision making – the person is not able to make decision for common
things. the thinking power becomes weak.
 Increased frustration – in this person gets frustrated constantly on everything. The
behaviour is completely changed.
 Night mares – person is not able to sleep due to nightmares. There is frequent and
disturbing dreams.
ï‚· Less sleep- in stress person is not able to get enough sleep. Due to this, it impacts on his
mental health.
Impact of stress- there is a great impact on stress on mental condition of employees. sometimes,
excessive stress leads to migraine, headache, etc. this restricts person to work in freely in office.
The major impact is on mental health of person (Brett and et.al., 2017). It increases depression
within person. Due to this, behaviour gets changed. Moreover, person remains away from others.
He or she do not share views and ideas with others. Other impact is described below :-
Central nervous and endocrine system- due to stress there is change in person behaviour. He
or she either overeats or does not eat enough. There is high consumption of alcohol, drug, etc.

Respiratory system- high stress results in increase in release of hormones that results in fast
breathing. It also increases the heart rate making it difficult to breathe. In this there is high risk of
heart attack.
Digestive -stress forces liver produces extra sugar to give energy. This may result in developing
od diabetes. It can also affect movement of food in body leading to diarrhoea or constipation. It
may lead to stomach ache, vomiting, etc.
Muscular – the person might feel pain in muscles, shoulders, legs, etc. this lead to tiredness and
physical weakness.
Immune – a person having stress could take long time to recover from any disease or illness.
The hormones weaken immune system and reduced body response to foreign invaders.
Strategies – in order to minimise stress, staff can use various strategies. This will help in
working freely (Persson and et.al., 2016). Also, person will be able to help others thus, resulting
in creating a better organisational culture. Furthermore, it will enable in developing plan and
schedule and maintaining work life balance easily. The strategies are as follows :-
ï‚· Doing regular physical exercise
ï‚· Doing yoga, meditation, etc.
ï‚· Listening to music or reading a book.
ï‚· Socialising with friends and family.
ï‚· Sharing problems and issues with others
ï‚· Getting enough sleep
By following all these activities, it will be easy for staff to reduce stress and work freely.
Every day they will feel refreshed. Moreover, activities can be easily followed by developing
schedule. it will also enable in maintain work life balance. also, by eating healthy diet person can
remain fit and fine. Staff will feel motivated at workplace.
Apart from this, organisation should organise some health benefits programs to give tips
to staff on how to manage stress. This will be beneficial in working during office hours. The
programs are as follows :-

2) The above heath and well being programs can be organised by organisation to assist
employees in maintain work life balance (Streiner and et.al., 2016). it can be implemented
during business hours by manager. Through this, it will be easy to gain trust of employees and
maintaining healthy workplace. in addition employees will remain engaged with each other.

ï‚· Yoga classes- organisation can start this program where a training session of 1-2 hours
can be conducted of yoga. This will help in keeping mind of staff fresh and calm. With
help of yoga stress can be released. Also, confidence of team members is retained and
they feel fresh and motivated.

centre where staff can go and do some exercise. By this they feel fresh and get some
relaxation time. Here, tiredness can be removed by doing some exercise. It is a well being
