Interpretation: Before knowing impacts of workplace transformation, it was important for
researcher to know as whether employees of Morrison has knowledge about workplace
transformation or not. So, in this regard, selected participants were asked about the main concept
of workplace transformation. In this context, 5 respondents stated that workplace transformations
is all about making working environment innovative by making changes in strategies and

organisational culture. In addition, 3 employees stated that implementation of advanced
technologies and software is known as workplace transformation and majority of participants
stated that adapting changes and working according can be considered as workplace
transformation. When employees change their way of performing functions as per the changing
situations of external environmental factors that this environment can be known as
transformative.

In this regard, 10 or majority of employees of Morrison stated that they believe that workplace
transformation can increase staff retention rate. In addition, they also said that when companies’

Interpretation: On the basis of above discussion, it can clearly be said taht there are number of
advantages of workplace transformation. But there are some challenges that are associated with
this. For solving challenges, it was important to know all problems so, samples were asked about
their views in this context. 4 employees stated that employees’ resistance to change is one of the
main challenges that company face while transforming workplace. Employees believe that by
adapting changes, they will have to make changes in their strategies that may affect their
performance. 6 employees also supported this view and said that workplace transformation can
hurt productivity of employees at initial level when they are being asked to adapt changes and
performing functions accordingly.
