INTRODUCTION
Background of the research
Transformation in the workplace refers to a method that help company in order to improve
their workforce abilities, skills and tools for keeping up with the constant changes within the
business strategy. There are many ways which is used by the organisation in order to transform
their organisation in order to make their employees to work in effective manner (Gkinko and
Elbanna, 2021). During Covid-19 pandemic many organisation used work from home policy
which helps in transforming their workplace in order to make their employees feel motivated and
comfortable to work in the organisation. The following research is prepared for Keller Williams
that used the work from home policy in order to transform their workplace. This research covers
research questions, research aim and objectives, limitation, review of literature, methodology,
analytics, findings, effectiveness of the research methods as well as recommendation for the
alternative methods that could have been used.
Questions of the research
Determine how does the working from home policy within the Keller Williams UK affects
their employees' performance?
Describe what are the major barriers related to implementation of Work from Home policy
behind the good performance of the Keller Williams in UK?
Aim of the research
To understand the importance of the workplace transformation within the business
organisation along with the its impact on the employees’ performance in the organization in the
digital wave. “A case study on Work from Home Policy”
Objectives of the research
To determine the impact of work from home policy on the performance of Keller Williams's
employees.
To identify the key barriers related to implementation of Work from Home Policy within
Keller Williams in UK to performed better at the time Covid 19 Pandemic.

Limitation of the study
The following research has many limitation as the qualitative data method is used the
researcher can obtain verify result from it (Mahyarni, 2019). This research also creates difficulty
for the researcher in order to investigate causality. The research takes more time in order to
conduct the research. The researcher collects qualitative data which cannot be represent in a
statistically manner.

The impact of work from home policy on the performance of Keller Williams's employees.
According to the view of Crow and Millot, (2020), work from home policy is a growing
trend in today’s business environment where employees are allowed to plug-in from just
anywhere they are in easy manner. It can also be consider as agreement in between employees
and employer who prefer to conduct their work from their home. This refers to an effective
strategy used by Keller Williams UK where employees feel comfortable in order to perform in
the organisation. This will help them in order to make work-life balance in order to feel free
while working in the organisation.
In the opinion of Nugroho and Suswanta (2020), work from home policy ensures manager
that the working from home is not beneficial for the employees but also for the company. This
policy helps employees in order to maintain the healthy work life balance as well as improve
their productivity in order to work in the organisation to help company in achieving their
organisational goals. The work from, home policy is applied by the Keller Williams UK to all
those employees who want to work from their home.
The key barriers related to implementation of Work from Home Policy within Keller Williams in
UK to performed better at the time Covid 19 Pandemic.
In the view point of Ghimire and Kim (2018), there are many major barriers that an
organisation faced while implementing work from home policy in order to transform their
workplace for improving their employees’ performance. It involves attitudes and biases against
location-independent work, lack of communication, allowing more autonomy, delegation and
task management as well as final thoughts of employees and management. This will also create
barriers for the Keller Williams UK in order to implement work from home policy for their
employees.
According to the perspective of Tröger and Reese (2021), to implement work from policy
is not an easy task for an organisation. It many barriers that may an organisation faced while
implementing work home policy such as an ability to switch off, difficulty with task

Research philosophy- There are two types of research philosophy within research
methodology that are positivism and interpretivism (Belotto, 2018). In the following research,
interpretivism research philosophy is selected as it helps in collecting and analysing the in-depth
information about the research topic.
Research Approach- It is divided in two forms which includes inductive and deductive
approach (Fischer and Guzel, 2022). In the following research, inductive research approach as it
is a systematic procedure which help researcher in order analyse qualitative data related to the
research topic.
Research strategy- It is available in many forms like survey, interview, case study,
observation, systematic literature review and many more (Levitt, 2021). In the case of current
research, the researcher selects survey and interview strategy in order to get valuable and
accurate information by directly asking from the respondents.
Research Choice- It is divided in two categories which can be described as quantitative
and qualitative method (Valtakoski, 2020). In the current conducted research, the researcher
selects qualitative research choice as it helps in collecting, analysing and using in-depth
information related to the research topic.
Time horizon- There are two types of time horizon in which the research is conducted.
The researcher selects cross-sectional time horizon as it help researcher in order to conduct the
research in less time (Denny and Weckesser, 2018). This will also help research in order to get
trending information about the research.
Data collection- This is classified in two forms which can be defined as secondary and
primary data collection method (Hays and McKibben, 2021). In the case of current research,
both the data collection method is used in order to collect information by directly asking from the
respondents as well as from other sources such as magazines, newspaper, journals, books and so
on.
