This research proposal investigates the impact of the global pandemic on accelerating workplace transformation within the UK retail industry, focusing on ASDA. The research aims to understand workplace transformation in the context of the UK retail sector, determine the impact of the pandemic on ASDA's workplace transformation, and evaluate effective strategies for ASDA to overcome the negative impacts of COVID-19. Utilizing a positivism philosophy and a deductive approach with a quantitative survey strategy, the study employs probability sampling to select 30 ASDA employees. The proposal includes a literature review highlighting the benefits of workplace transformation and the pandemic's influence, supported by references to relevant academic sources. The data collection methods include both primary and secondary sources.

company in order to accommodate different kinds of technology, employees and
work.
• Through workplace transformation, organisation can improve the workforce skills,
abilities and skills so that they can keep up with the constant changes in business
strategy of organisation.
