INTRODUCTION
Mostly times the people work for the fulfilment of their own objectives, they pursue a job to earn
livelihood. This study report will discuss why does the people work, what are the work place
value, main factors which motivate the employee to work and at last this report will tell the
negative and positive impacts that an employee have through job.
MAIN BODY
Understanding the values of work place
The values of workplace can be referred as the principles that guides the employees towards
what to do at the workplace. Staff uses these rules to get to know that what are they doing is
either correct or incorrect. Some example of workplace values are — giving the best in every
task, honesty towards the firm, completion of work before deadlines. The work place values of a
firm are the main factors that motivates employees toward their work(Adil, M., 2018).
Factors that motivate the employees at the work
To get to know the main reason behind why people work it is very necessary to understand that
what attracts them towards the work. Motivation in the simple language can be said as the
acquiring of positive energy to achieve the goal oriented tasks. It helps in guiding the employees
toward work and completion of work. At the workplace managers can be said as the main tool
for motivation also some of the firm's use motivation books as the positive source of providing
motivation(Darvishmotevali, M. and Ali, F.,2020). The environment of the working culture the
templates, posters, portraits of the motivational thoughts at the work place are also the major
influencer of motivation in the employees. Now let's see the major factors that helps in
motivating employees in brief as follows:-
Development of the trustworthy leadership :- whenever the leader or manager tries to
build a healthy, trustworthy or friendly relationship with the staff, they will majorly win
the trust of the staff and in the favour of return for that the employees will get motivated
and will directly put more efforts or will show more interest in the work. It is also

collected in the survey that motivating employees through building relationships is the
major factor that increase the productivity of the employees.
Working environment :- The environment of the work place plays a vital role I
motivating or demotivating the employees, a healthy or helpful working environment can
actually grow the interest of employees towards the firm and keep them highly motivated.
The work place where the employees have less headache and feel relaxed is the work place
where they can give the productive results. Other than the environment the cycle of work life
balance is also an important factor of motivating the employees, which says that the helping the
employees creating a good balance between the work life and personal life can motivate them
and may give productive result from them to firm.
Getting known or Recognizing :- This can be said as the one of the major factor that
motivates the employees toward work, getting appreciation on completion of task or
getting recognized by the manager is one of the self motivation for the employees that
can make them give productive results every time (Getahun Asfaw, A. and Chang, C.C.,
2019).
Pay Scale :- every person comes in the organization to work for their personal objective
and mostly have their personal objective as money but while working in the firm the
employees should work for organizational objective, still there at some point the
employee think of their personal objective which make him work more toward the
organization so that he can get promotion which may affect it's pay scale may give him
incentives or more, a management theorist have also said that the none other thing is
bigger motivation than money.
Clarity :- without providing, clarity transparency or open communication between the
managers and the employees it is never possible to make them motivate towards the work
and without all of these factors the motivation of employees may start to lose, which may
create lose of interest of them in the job, motivation is also necessary for better
understanding of firm's objectives or goals, thus at the work place telling the employees
the tasks, missions and responsibility clearly can motivate the employees at its best.
Visualizing and providing positive results :- the middle level managers and the chief
executive officers of most of the firm us the success formula of envision to motivate the
employees at the work place, this tells about what the employees will get if they complete

Impact that the work have on it's employees
Doing anything in this world have it's impact which surrounds towards the person who did the
work, these impacts are termed as positive and negative impacts, in this report firstly the positive
impacts of job on the people will be discussed which is carried out with the help of a survey, so
some positive impacts of job over the employees are as follows:-
Availability of good resources, social gathering and a book of knowledge are the
foremost positive impacts that the job have on its employees, working in an organization
makes an employee learn the best use of what the resources it haves which increases
motivation and the commitment levels of the employees, this directly results in increasing
the efficiency of the employee, which helps the employees outside of the workplace too.
Discipline, the major impact that the job have on the employees is it make the laziest guy
the disciplined guy it changes the life cycle of a person the way they eat, sleep or enjoy.
The job makes them adjust everything accordingly using the time management.
Increases the self-confidence and self-respect of self not only in front of others but in
front of self too, all of these helps the employee to stand at front foot in front of the
society (Heyns, M.M. 2018).
Unite the employees efforts which let the employee learn that the team unity and team
spirit is very important for completion of any kind of work, it also tells the importance of
a group to the employees which led them to complete the after work regarding self on
time, for example preparing a birthday party (.Kim, .2022).
All the positive impacts that the report has discussed above shows the increase in efficiency and
productivity of the employees it also showed what the person working learn from the job and
what the job gives to the employees. Improving life cycle, making discipline and developing
good communication are the major positive factors (Loan, 2020), now let's discuss the negative
impacts of job on the employees, some negative impacts of job over the people's are as follows:-
Mostly times it makes the people working irritated and stressful in nature, this all
happens because of work load or the bad workplace environment it becomes the
personality of the person to be in stress or rude, which impacts its social life as well as it's
features and it also results in decreasing productivity.

Loss of patience can be referred as the major negative impact that happens to the people
because of job
Toxic culture or non transparent working culture can affect the productivity of the
employees badly.
Uncomfortable condition of working environment can be said as the factor that have a
direct negative impact on the employees, making them worried about their job decision
and further future, if the employees doesn't get satisfaction from what the employee is
getting or what the employee want can affect it's productivity directly, it can also be said
as the unsatisfying agreement of the work including low salary, high work load, high
work time or incentives etc.
lack of transparency, clarity and flexibility at the work place
mostly times the heavy work load of job on the employees, make them a frog of the well
who doesn't have any social life in the work place or after the work place which may
affect the employees personal living.
These all are the negative impacts of job that the employee suffer with.
CONCLUSION
This report has discussed about the why do people work what are the necessity that made them
work, it has also shown the principles of work place value that has to be followed for the
completion of task on time and gathering positivity. This study report has shown the major
factors that motivate the employees at the work place to work also it has shown some of the
positive as well as negative impacts of the jobs on the employees. These both impacts directly
affect the efficiency and productivity of the employees (Traymbak, S. and Kumar, P., 2018).
