INTRODUCTION
Education is a need of every individual whether be a child or an adult. Education has now
become a vital component for everyone in their lives (Wagner, 2017). Education is just not a
word but it has whole lot of things combined in it. This is what we are going to study under this
report that is “THE WORLD OF EDUCATION”.
MAIN BODY
Education is a key factor that shapes the life of an individual. It helps an individual to have a
control on himself and also makes a person ready to face and overcome hurdles of life with
proper knowledge and understanding. Students are the future of a country and if they are well
educated they can make their nation prosper and successful. From the past, we have seen that
governments and many others have focused towards the need of learning (Metzger and Harris,
2018). It is made compulsory for the parents to make their children go to schools for their
learning and development.
Since the field of education has been developed we have seen in many schools and universities
that they provide education in theoretical form with the help of books, lectures, notes etc. but the
question here arises is this the only need of a child to get knowledge only by books and writings.
May be yes or may be no. No doubts to the fact that books are the best friends of human beings
as they can share their feelings on it, learn from it, work on it and many more. Though we can do
this many things with the help of books but it lacks the real experience. With the changing
dynamics of the world, it is important for us to adapt to the new changes and bring these changes
in the world of education also.
Education combined with the emerging technology can bring a new wave of change to the world.
Many students can get benefits from this worldwide as they can interact with teachers, mentors,
educationalists from across the globe with the use of technology (Balyer and Öz, 2018). At
schools or universities, professors can get access to virtual classes, seminars, practical sessions
and a lot more to increase the knowledge of students with the actual implementation of the
knowledge they get theoretically. When we get the exposure to interact with the outside world to
get knowledge and latest information about what is happening around and how can we derive

benefit from it, we can adapt to the changes easily. Many students are unable to grasp the things
that are taught theoretically but they can easily adapt it though watching it live and listening.
Practical knowledge is one of the most essential factor to build up skills of an individual. By
virtual learning, an individual emerges new and innovative ideas to solve a particular task and he
gets some doubts he can also solve and clear it immediately. The above discussions were based
for enhancing the learning skills of students at secondary level. What about the students pursuing
their higher education at universities. Here we can say that students can get live experience of
working at some companies or workplaces. Institutions should focus on increasing the student’s
market knowledge of how actual work is carried out in big firms and businesses.
At a particular period, they should be given opportunities to work under great business
personalities or in any other profession apart from just business. This will help students to put the
knowledge in practice which they get through their studies. Internship programs. Live
workshops, live projects etc. should be undertaken by the universities to inculcate the need of
practical knowledge among the students (Konst and Scheinin, 2018). The vast knowledge the
students’ gets through these programs not just focuses on learning but also makes them self-
independent and capable enough to make life changing decisions. Here comes a fact that students
who develops and builds up his knowledge through practical learnings is far more skilled and
talented than those who just mugs up the bookish knowledge.
Take for an example that exists two students A & B. They both studies from the same institutions
and got the opportunity to apply for a job in big company. They both appeared with their degrees
at the time of interview session. Despite of having the same knowledge, A got selected and B got
rejected. What was the reason? The reason was that with the knowledge A was having
experience of working as he polished his skills during his work tenure so far B lacked this. The
current need of companies accepts more of students who have practical work knowledge rather
than just having degrees as this reduces their training costs of their organization (Shelton, P.G.,
Corral and Kyle; 2017). But this is not just the case, many students also have the capability to
use their skills at the workplace if they are given a chance.
This is all possible in the vast area of education. With this discussion, we can estimate that the
world of education has become so much advanced with wide scope and better career
opportunities. It is really hard to define education under one roof. Education has different

meaning to different persons. For school going it is medium of learning, for students at a higher
level it is a way to gain experience and skills and for adults it is a method that is used to earn a
living. Education also contributes towards social change. A drive to change the thinking and old
beliefs of society can only be brought with the help of education. It removes social inequality,
racial discrimination and many more social evils from the society. Individuals who learn
together, work together always lives together.
With keeping this in mind, we get to know the importance of education and how it helps an
individual build the career. Education provides immense knowledge of the outside world to the
students at ease with great facilities.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion it is clear that education is the glowing light which brightens up the
student’s life and gives them a better tomorrow to live in. The world of education provides
students an opportunity to learn, grow, develop and build knowledge in a way that helps shape
their successful careers.
