Introduction:
The report is about World University that a group of private institution came together
under a hood and made the university. The university is operated fully online. Any students can
take the lectures from anywhere by online as the lecturer posted the lectures regularly on the
portal students just need to log in to the portal to get the lecture directly online (Wieling & Hofman
(2010). The students can study online in anytime of the day. All the staff interactions are made
through online no option of interaction physically (Croxton 2014). Students get the choice of
county they want to be graduated from. The senior management takes some decision for the
benefit of the business as to give some benefit to the students. The decision taken by the
managements comes up with some certain issues that can be effect the business (Hammer 2015).
The management of the university only focused on the business side of the education then the
proper teaching side of the education. The management will use its student for the benefit of the
company by promoting the university offering by its own students. The objective of the
university is to provide education to all over the world by online (Allen & Seaman 2013). This is a
business model where the business and the student both has the equal opportunities among
them .As the business is large so the issues regarding with the business is so high and we have to
provide the recommendation for the following issues (Li et al., 2014).
The Idea of the University:
The main idea behind this university is to have the all private organization together to
form a world university. The main aim of the university is to provide education online
(Yuan,Powell & CETIS 2013). All the student can study online from anywhere in the world. The
lecturer also can give the lecture at any time. As the whole process is online so it is very

convenient for the student as well as for the staffs (Grebennikov & Shah 2013). The staffs of the
university also communicate via online between them. There is a special option for the student
that the student can choose the desired country from where he wants to graduate and take degree.
For example if a student studied his entire study in USA then the student can choose to graduate
from world university Australia. More students can be affiliate them self under the world
university. In every country World University will be presented for the students. And there are
several opportunities for the students of the university as well. By this initiative many students
can get the graduation degree from anywhere in the world (Wirtz et al., 2013). As the whole
program is online so they can utilize their time and decide when to study when not. The
university may also provide other schemes for the benefit of the students like by giving them
loyalty reward, giving them job opportunity and many other exposure (lamb et al., 2015).
Decisions of the senior management:
StudyTogether is a loyalty scheme which is proposed by the senior management for the student
of their university. This scheme will provide reward to the students for their loyalty towards the
university (Jeong & Khouja 2013). If a student refers another student to take admission inn the
university then the student will be rewarded with a fee credit depending on in which the referred
student will take admission according to that. Besides using the students for the referral and the
promotion of the university, this senior management also hire agents from outside to sell the
offering of the university to the employees out there (Niranjanamurthy 2014). The management
work efficiently for their student and the staffs as any application that is send to the management
for any approval is approved in less than 5 minutes. The management also takes the decision
regarding the non-refundable payment that is the non-refundable payment needs to be paid by
credit card or by PayPal (Cowen & Tabarrok 2014). There are two items that are part of the course

those are the E-book and the laptop. The e-book and the laptop will be on the website of the
university. The student must have to buy the e-book and the laptop from the university website
they cannot opt out purchasing those two items. The laptop will be sent out to the all students
and the laptop will be pre-configured with the required software according to the course that the
student takes admission in (Tess 2013). with these the senior management can introduce some
the extra courses apart from the normal courses. The students who are willing to learn the extra
course can enroll themselves under the course by paying a nominal fee for the enrollment. By
these the student will get benefited and the business will also earn some certain revenue from this
(Yuan,Powell & CETIS 2013). So both will get benefited from the applying the processes. The
social media in the recent time proved to be the deciding factor for many businesses. The use of
social media can impact hugely on the business. The university management can promote their
website in the social media. Social media is a broader platform for promoting a business. Billions
of people are engaged in the social Medias like Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn and many other
social Medias. So the connectivity gets higher and more people can be aware of the business. By
this many people can be aware of the university and the chances will be high of more people
taking admission in the university so the university will generate a good amount of revenue by
the effect of the social media promotion (Wechsler 2017). The university also hired agents who
can promote the offerings of the university to the employees. These agents will promote the
business online and offline and more students will be aware of the university and take admission
(Korda & Itani 2013). These can save money of the business because they do not have to pay extra
fee which they have to pay to the student if the admission is based on the student’s referral.

Generating Issues:
Many issues can be generated from the decisions that are taken by the senior
management. The management says that the student will get fee credit if any student takes
admission by the referral of an existing student. But the management should modify the scheme
in a way after that the student can get the fee credited because for getting the fee credit fake
admission can be referred by the exiting student. Because the chance of fraud is very high as
there is no face to face interaction and the whole process is online. As the application is approved
less than 5 minutes then the chances are high of miss approval because much permission are not
approvable and if its approved then problem can be arise. The management set a rule for the non-
refundable payment that the payment must done through credit card or PayPal. This can leads to
problem for many students if any student does not have the PayPal or credit card then he can be
land in trouble. The management also decided that it is necessary for the student to buy the E-
books and the laptop and tea mound is added in the course fee. If any students already have
laptop then it makes no sense to take laptop again by paying the extra money. The student only
can simply install the required software and take the E-books only. So this is an issue for the
student having the laptop from earlier a there is not having the option of opting out. We added a
new scheme also for the students who are interested and willing to pay extra amount can enroll
themselves in the extra course that is offered by the World University. This can create a certain
issue if any student wants to do the course but does not want to pay the money. This can see the
model is failing to gain the proper revenue. There are more issues with the only process like to
get fee credit the student can give fake referral. Like many other business in the market this
business also choose to promote itself on the social media which is a great option in terms of
promotion of the business. But it will also give some issues to the management like there are so

many people on the social media and not everyone is legit there are so many spammers out there
those can affect the business.
Conclusion:
To conclude the report it can be said that, it is a very good initiative to bring all the
private institution of all around the world in a single place to build a university called World
University. This university is operated fully online there is no face to face interaction which can
be established. This university provides many benefits to the students across the glove. The
student can learn themselves and the students can interact with the tutor both can be done online.
The students can learn in anytime as the whole system is online. There are some options by that a
student can do the graduation from the country he/she wants to do from. The whole process is
online and there is no face to face interaction between the staffs or between the student and the
tutor or staffs. Suppose a student from South Africa wants to graduate from USA it is possible in
this university. The university also provides E-Books and laptop to each and every students and
it is the part of the course. The students must have to purchase it from the university and the
laptop is loaded with all the software it needed for doing the course. A scheme of loyalty is also
provided to the student that if the students refer any other students and the student take admission
in the university then the students will be rewarded with the credited fee. The university is doing
the promotion online by promoting it to the social media where the area of promotion is very
high. The university can offer extra course for the student those are willing to pay extra money
for the extra course. Regarding the decision of the higher management several issues has arises.
The issues need to be removed for the betterment of the business.

Recommendation:
Like the every other business these businesses regarding the education also face some
certain issues. In this report earlier the issues are mentioned which arise due to the decisions of
the higher management of the company. The higher management is decided that the students
refer another students to take admission will get fee credited. For this process the issue that can
arise is the fake referral, like a student can refer fake to get the fee credit. For this proper online
verification systems have to be there. The fee only gets credited if the referred student completes
the whole course unless the students will not be paid by the fee credit. The fees payment which is
non-refundable is set as to pay by the credit card or by PayPal. They must introduce other online
payment options as well in case the student is unable to pay by the credit card or by the PayPal.
The university offers e-books and the laptops for all the students which is a good option. But the
issue is students must have to purchase the laptop. Many students now days have their own
laptop so this makes no sense purchasing another laptop by paying extra money. So for those
students, opt out options n feeds to be there so the students do not have to face this issue. The
university offers extra courses for the student who have intererest in this and ready to pay extra
money also for that. In terms of the business perspective it is a good option because the business
can generate a good amount of money. But many students are interested to do the course but they
may not have the money or do not want to pay the money. For them some alternate option must
be given like they can pay the money not at once but by installment if they can or want to pay the
extra money for doing the course. These are the recommendations that can be applied to have the
better result and the business will get sustainable over the period of time. On these
recommendations can be applied in the business by the higher management to all the issues that
can affect the businesses.
