Introduction
A person can feel the utter excitement and happiness when they are personally
independent. Work is the most important priority in everyone life and no person just work
only fro earning the living expenses but their main agenda is to manage and control, their life
in their own way and also to standardized the life of the family members. While working
individual teds to learn so many new skills and along with that they also gain a new
atmosphere and colleagues, friends through which they feel confident and more open and
satisfied. Some of the most important reasons for which a person attains work is like,
economic pressure, emotional reasons, potential to perform and work, play inertia and many
more. The most important element which make the people to work in stable manner is
motivation as it satisfy them and it also make them feel valued and happy(Landry and et. al.,
2017). In this report their will be discussion about the factors which are important for
motivation. Further it will also cover the positive and the negative experience faced by the
employees in job role.
What does Motivation Mean?
Motivation is an important process in an individuals life it considers guidance,
initiation and also all the methods through which the goal oriented behavior can be managed.
This considers social, emotional, biological cognitive forces through which the person's
behavior can be analyses (Foster, 2021). This plays an important role in making the driving
force in life of a person. Their consist to have so many different theories of motivation which
helps in managing the human actions and one of the important one is mentioned there under:
Maslow theory for hierarchy of needs consist of about five tier model in which the
depiction of the human needs are been given in the hierarchical manner as in the pyramid
shape. It generally focus on that all the individuals are motivated through one of the sources
and they continue to opt it as by managing the precedence of another. It is been given as
under: Physiological Needs- This is the first and the foremost basic need which all the
individuals need to have liker food, shelter, clothing, water and many more. This is all
the necessity on daily basis and once the person is able to achieve this they try to
manage and make the other needs to be fulfilled. Safety Needs- It is considered to be the salient need in which as once person is able to
cross the first stage of physiological need then they will focus on control, order,

predictability and other experiencing in their life. This can only be taken by the
society and the family members. As once this is accomplished they will move further
for another. Love and belonging needs- Now once the safety is been opted there is been
requirement of this need in which the emotional connect and the human bond is been
covered as this involves all the personal relationships, affection, connection,
affiliation which can be made through friendship, intimacy, trust, acceptance and
many more. When the person adapts and gets this then they move to another level of
motivation (Suffa, 2018). Self-esteem Need- This considers to have two important categories in which the
introductory considers to have dignity, achievement etc and the another one consist of
recognition, respect which can be gained by others and also the status, prestige etc.
when all these are achieved then the person continues to move to another level.
Self-actualization Need- It is the most important and the top level need in which the
person realize its potential and can also seek their own personal growth with self
fulfillment with all the peak experiences. In this level the person want to achieve
everything in order to gain the top position.
There consist of two types of motivation which are like:
Intrinsic- it consist of all the personal appreciation and the rewards that are being
managed in it. All the motivation in such process are from inner ways and it helps
in achieving the goals. For instance: positive feedback from seniors.
Extrinsic- this considers all the outside factors like the task completion and the
motivation in all such are given through rewards and all the beneficial
methods(Zusman and et. al., 2021).
The various factors which motivate employees to work
Salary: It is the most important factor as all individual need a financial security in
their life and when they are able to manage their living earnings and also a standard
method through which they earn sufficiently in order to provide the better life to their
families then this will motivate them. This can also be observed that when the person
is earning well then they feel motivated in their work place and also try to show some
extra efforts for work.

1. Promotion: This helps in making the employees motivated towards their working
areas and it also focus on managing the ambition and the general working. It
generates all the career of the person by including all the authority,
autonomy,managerial competence, independence in the work. When the employees
gets the promotion they feel confident and will also feel more responsibilities through
which they manage working efficiently with all the members.
Work Environment: It involves all the positive approach in the environment and will
thrive the motivation through which the physical and the non-physical areas and
context are been carried out. This is mainly the environment in which the employees
work. As when the person works in proper manner they will feel satisfied and will
manage the productivity and efficiency in order to manage and create a job
satisfaction in the company (Beier, Torres, and Beal, 2020).
The positive factors employees experience as a result of their
job roles
The positive factors are the most important for the employees as this will provide
them the job satisfaction some of the major employees experience which are been given as
under: Modern Performance management- In this method when the employees gain all the
revert and the feedback in order to manage the work accordingly and also to
implement the performance to be evaluated. This will make them to push towards the
working and will also provide general benefits through which reviews of the
workforce and their proper managerial functions can be carried out.
Skills and growth management- When regular training sessions are been given to the
employees this will there by motivate them towards the work areas and also boost
their confidence. As company should always opt some new methods and ways in
which work can be managed(Sailer, and et. al., 2017).
The negative factors employees experience as a result of their
job roles
Some of the methods in which the employees can experience a proper job role are
considered as follows:

Conflicts in Workplace- This is the most common drawback as the individuals when
experience all the negativity in the working environment their will be a demotivate in
the mind of employees so the employees will feel less confidence towards the
company and their working. And this will also effect the productivity and the
performance of the company.
Toxic environment in workplace- this is quiet all such environment in the workplace
which creates a negativity in the mind of employees that can arise through bullying or
immense pressure or any such method in which the company can eventually feels the
toxicity. This will make the conflicts between the members and will also make them
dissatisfied (Kendall, 2019).
Strategies to cope with negative factors employees
experience as a result of their job roles
There are so many strategies through which negativity can be overcome and
motivation can be made they are like: Recognition- The company should always give recognition to the employees as in
order to motivate them and also to contribute towards their performance. So the
company can use this tool so as to motivate the employees who are performing better. Employee engagement- In order to create a healthy environment company can there
by manage a involvement of all the employees over their and they can make a proper
conversation so as to analyses the performance issue. By engaging the employees this
will make them comfortable and motivated and will help them out top cope up with
negative challenges.
Opportunities to express- This considers that all the employees in the company
should get an opportunity in which they can talk to their senor managers for any
issues and problems. This will give them job satisfaction.
Conclusion
It can be concluded from the report that, motivation plays an important role in making
the employees feel satisfied towards their work and productivity. In order to motivate the
employees there are so many methods which can be used they are like salary, promotion and
working environment. Their are both positive and the negative environment in the company
