According to my view, development theory is a group of different types of theories about
how society changes are desired. Developing theories applied to different kinds of social science
disciplines and methods (Agronin, 2013). Different development theories depend on the various
explanations and its inequalities. In my view, developmental psychology is presently changing
the world view as a discipline. Similarly, there are some of the theoretical methods in
developmental theories which help to advocate future life (Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi 2014).
There are three types of world views which effected developmental psychology such as
organismic, contextual and mechanistic world views (Agronin, 2013).
In the present century, Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytical concepts had encouraged to
understand how the mind functions (Blazek, 2013). His constant inspiration influenced people in
different areas. Firstly, psychoanalytic theories inspired every day to the psychotherapy.
Secondly, it inspired a resurgence of interest in some specific Freudian concepts on the research
psychologists’ portion (Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi 2014). Research psychologists are
showing interest in revitalisation in some subjects such as unconscious and defence mechanisms
(Clemens, 2013). Thirdly, Freud's ideas influence found in culture, beliefs, which are merged
with daily language and the understanding judgment of our own and other people’s behaviour
(Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi 2014). A final reason for Freud s ideas is essential because he
placed the foundation for several topics and queries that still psychologists are addressing. He
planned for psychological growth in developmental sequence. He formulated a technique to
resolve internal conflicts (Clemens, 2013).
According to my aspects, Sigmund Freud’s take an evolutionary phenomenon, and this is
used in modern sciences, and also expected that religion fades away inevitably (Blazek, 2013).
Being an evolutionary phenomenon, Sigmund Freud also believed that religion was the major

and led a mental disorder; I think an “illusion” that helps to human survival for a period.
Therefore the future of the “illusion,” was its extinction (Agronin, 2013).
According to my point of view, one of Sigmund Freud’s well-known theories was
psychosexual development. Sigmund Freud hypothesised that as youngsters, we move through
different stages of erogenous areas (Blazek, 2013). I noticed that after the successful completion
of these phrases, Sigmund Freud argued to manage practice (Blazek, 2013) and develop a strong
personality (Blazek, 2013). However, fixation at any phrases prevents completion and thus, as a
result, unhealthy nature developed. Even though features of these theories are used in present
days as a psychodynamic therapy or psychoanalytical therapy, this psychoanalytical therapy has
been interchanged so many times with the modern approach (Agronin, 2013). I think Sigmund
Freud’s all theories are given to us like a little strange at first time such as so many criticisms
arise so many times. Also several works of Sigmund Freud remains essential to a number of our
best main understandings of psychology and also helps in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy
(Agronin, 2013). Such as the usage of transference (Blazek, 2013), counter-transference, dream
analysis, defence mechanisms, unconscious mind and free association are immense the value to
present century for psychoanalytical and practice (Blazek, 2013).
