WORLDVIEW INFLUENCING RESEARCH INTERESTS
An individual experiences the reality based on his cognition built thus it is through
experience that he or she forms an opinion about the society and the on-going reality.
Worldview is the integral cognitive orientation that is formed by an individual or a society,
which encompasses the whole of existing knowledge (Hedlund-de Witt et al., 2013). After
the brutal phase of two world war and in the following age of cold war, there as a rise of
liberal phase of development. Especially after the declaration of President Truman the idea of
development got modelled after western model. The western model of development was
infused the growth model that assumed the trickle down phenomena thus it was mostly
desired form within the different worldviews.
After the age of globalization where transnational communication of movement
accelerated largely individual’s worldview is not limited to any particular place. Thus, the
cultural understanding of the particular person is no longer hand-tied to its region rather there
is constant form of cultural clash that are occurring simultaneously. Changes that are
occurring the cultural construct affects the individual personality directly (Stuetzer et al.,
2018). This because culture is the haven where a human learns how to live, learn and behave.
The thought process, languages for articulation or the nature of one’s own comprehension all
are drawn from the cultural bag.
These sensing, thinking, knowing or acting of the self exists in the milieu worlds’ existing
knowledge. In addition, it very important to understand that at the heart of theses knowledge
exist the ones world-view, which is perceived by him or him. From the information that are
drawn by our sensory organs, that is to see, hear, smell, taste and feel we learn to experience
our immediate reality (Goldie, 2017). The thought process enables one to orient the
knowledge that is infused with belief, opinion and intent of that particular person. This forms
