This case study examines the wound management of two patients, Mr. Will Jackson and Mrs. Miriam Gold, presenting their medical histories, evaluations of different wound types, expected healing processes, and detailed wound management plans. Mr. Jackson, a 77-year-old with diabetic foot and arterial ulcers, a pressure ulcer, and a burn injury, receives a comprehensive plan addressing infection prevention, blood glucose management, and wound care. Mrs. Gold, an 85-year-old undergoing palliative care, presents with a malignant wound and venous ulcer, requiring pain management, infection control, and specific wound care strategies. The study highlights the importance of holistic, patient-centered approaches, including health education and nutritional advice, to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. References to relevant research and guidelines are included to support the proposed interventions.
