Dear John:
Subject : Requesting to be the team leader of the group
Upon learning your search for a team leader, I hastened to show my resume for your
review. I am an experienced enthusiastic leader with apt interpersonal and exceptional
motivational characters. Therefore, I am prepared to significantly contribute to your
group.
According to the true colors profile I possess the personal traits and work capabilities
depicted by the gold. My background includes the aspect of leading and coordinating
teams so as to achieve the goals and processes of the group (Sandahl, 2018). Also, I
believe in teamwork and therefore I will work hard to surpass the defined objectives of
the group. I am also good in assigning task and training group members appropriately. I

excel in establishing group goals, collaborating with other groups and inspiring group
members to work hard so as to exceed their personal and corporate objectives.
In childhood I understood and respected authorities in school and this formed my
background interest to be a team leader in future. All the time in school I associated with
children who most of the times liked to call me a group leader. Since primary level I have
been working hard enough to boost my relationship traits. I always enjoy working along
with group members and also demonstrating the clear directions needed when leading the
group (Turner, 2019). At the work I believe in my motto which says that “a leader is the
determiner of the work in every group.” Therefore, I believe if you appoint me as a leader
then be assured to expect loyalty, order and punctuality in the group.
Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Stephen N. Hart
