Descriptive:Descriptive writing is one of the most used writing skill in academic writing. In
descriptive writing, individuals writes to describe particular topic or question. The main purpose
behind descriptive writing is to give description about place, person or thing. In this writing style,
the most important things about topic is covered and to clarifies the things which are considered as
main part of particular topic.(Okumus and Cetin., 2018) It also enables students to make use of
latest and new vocabulary words. In descriptive writing there is use of such language which is
figurative like smilies, analogies and metaphors which create a clear picture in mind of reader.
Analytical: Descriptive writing is part of analytical writing. This kind of writing is used for
showing the relation between different pieces of information. In this writing style information is
collected from different sources, like sources can be primary or secondary.(Rudden., 2016) This
writing style also forms argumentative essays. The main thing which this writing prefers is that, it
collect information from different sources and then find the links between them. In analytical
writing there is need of high information, as it describes things more clearly then descriptive
writing.
Persuasive: Persuasive writing comes after clearing analytical writing. Persuasive writing consist
all the elements of the analytical writing.(Pike., 2015) This style of writing is to make reader
convince about a viewpoint which is explained in writing. Generally this kind of writing is used in
marketing, as they want to people to understand their viewpoint regarding the things which they
have explained in their persuasive writing. The main purpose behind persuasive writing is to make
understand the matter which has written.

Importance of Academic Writing.
Academic writing is very vital for every individual who want to explain the view of himself through
writing, as person can make people understand about the topic which is written through academic
writing. It also help in clarifying an individual thought. Academic writing is not only limited with
explaining your viewpoint it is more than that. There are many important matters which can be
