Introduction
Football Federation Australia is an organization that governs football in Australia.
FFA was founded in 2004 in order to regulate the bodies that are under this organization.
These bodies comply with the laws and regulation made by FFA (FFA, 2019). Football
Federation Australia aims to integrate pathways that will help in getting amazing footballers
and to make the Australian football economy grow so that it will become the main attraction
point for the investors. Other objectives are to increase the market growth and investment in
the game and to provide more dedicated facilities for professional football players and for the
community.
Primary Objective of FFA
The primary objective of the organization is to connect the game with the youth,
enable Australia to remain internationally competitive and to open the opportunities for
investment in Australia Football (FFA, New leagues, 2019). For completing the objective of
this organization an event will be organized named Y-Game. The event is basically focused
on the Youth’s Football and the objective of this event is to connect the game to the youth so
that more and more professional footballers can be identified. The basis of the event is to
make aware the youth about football and this event will provide the opportunity to the youth
footballers to prove themselves and to make their career in this game. In connection with the
organization objective, this event will help in getting the more investment in the sports
industry and will be beneficial for making the football the most competitive game in
Australia and to provide new talent pathways to the deserving candidates. Sports has shaped
the identity of Australia and contributed in the development of the economy and culture of
Australia in many ways. The FFA is the best example of how the organization contributed
for the development of Australian economy by focusing on giving opportunities to the
investors to invest in the sports industry (Konter, Beckman , & Loughead, 2019). The Y-
Game event will be beneficial to contribute in further growth of the economy and to create a
culture in which football will be appreciated and seen as the competitive game at
international level.
Audience and Promotion of Event
This event will be promoted through social media, print media that is newspapers and
sports magazine that mainly target the youth of the Australia. Youth will be targeted as event

will based on the objective to encourage and aware youth people about the football and to
attract them to participate so that more talented people can be identified. To promote this
event following steps will be taken that includes banner in universities, gyms and stadiums,
creating a website for the registration of the people who want to participate in the youth
program, and at last to attract the audience some giveaway contests will be conducted to
make the youth aware about the event so that more and more people get influenced to take
participate in the program.
Sponsors and Partners
The partners and sponsors who will finance the event are Hankook, Skysport, Harvey
Norman and Foxtel. All these are the sponsors through which the event will be successful. As
7.5 million Australian who have interest in Football and from that 2 million actively
participate in the game (Baker, Graham, & Smith, 2019). The success of any sport event
depends on the reach or involvement of the audience and participants. An effective
communication channel that will help in reaching to the audience will prove to be beneficial.
The second most aspect that will make a sport event successful is profitability of an event or
the return from the event whether the objective is achieved or not. In a nutshell, well defined
communication or marketing strategies, sponsorship, hospitability and audience involvement
are the key factors in making a sport event successful.
Financial Return
The estimation of cost that will incur in organizing the Y Game includes cost of
advertising, venue, trophies, technical staff, membership and registration, coach payments,
and facilities for participants and audience. Football event budget will be $100,000 and this
will include finance from sponsorship. The estimated return of the event depend on the
number of audiences and the success of the event as Australian people enjoy this game more
as compare to other games in country. The return on this event will be approximately $20,000
as most of the revenue will be from membership and registration and it will depend on the
youth participants. Further from the sponsors and partners the amount that they will invest
$50,000. Considering the expenditure on the promotion activities and staff it would be of
$80,000. Football events in Australia give positive or higher return due to its importance in
the country. The event will target the youth of the country and there will be chances that
audiences and participants will be more in numbers that leads to higher return.
