1YOUNG MILLENNIAL
The psychological problems among the young millennial in Britain is increasing with
time and these are taking serious path for affecting the society at a great aspect. According to the
report published in The Guardian, universities in Britain are experiencing high surge regarding
the student anxiety and mental breakdowns these are being added with depression. There has
been high rise in the students dropping out from 2015 (Thorley and Cook 2017).
Now there are certain commercialisation Solution Can be found in this problem. there are
several process which the companies recruiting young millennials unfollowing. firstly intrusion
of mindfulness in the employee Wellness efforts can be seen. the studies can show that the
people who are participating in the mindfulness meditation initiated by their organisations even
for a short period can produce more authenticity in their work and improved sleep. similarly the
mindfulness can also produce physical change in the brain which ko relate with the the decreased
anxiety overall psychological wellbeing and better concentration the companies are arranging for
employee Wellness programs which include health initiatives to encourage the employees for
taking proactive actions associated with their Physical health many of these programs are helping
to encourage the employees for maintaining healthy diets keeping up with the medical
appointment exercise and deal with the health problems protectively. For nurturing the
millionaire talents and getting the best performance for nurturing the millennial talents and
getting the best performance out of the members of this generation can only make sense to
encourage and engage among the employees.
In addition to this encouraging the struggling young millennials in the organisations to make
daily plans can mitigate this issue. those who are struggling with mental health and anxiety along
with depression can be benefited by implementing and developing strategies. the mental health
professionals believe that these policies can work based when they are implemented through the

the daily plan. by using daily plan the millionaires can properly customise their strategies of
adaptation and adjustment around the demand. this can help to solve daily issues in their day and
keep there state of mind at a place effectively. the people who are struggling with their mental
help and anxiety problem can make the plans and follow them through a workday. these
strategies include working from home until it is noon forever reading stresses in the busy work
environment. they must plan a short walk after a stressful staff meeting for decompressing.
texting The counsellor about the anxiety levels when they get up high immediately so that they
can get help as much as possible. finally the daily plan can include getting a sit in a quiet place.
By implementing these policies and strategies the young millionaires can feel controlled in their
Minds. they can also ensure that they can perform at their maximum level of productivity needed
for the given day.
By emphasizing the importance of the social connections can help the yong millennials to reduce
their stress in the workplace or the other aspects. Unfortunately the mental health issues are very
much isolating. for the millennials these are compounded by social false narrative which have
been creating by the societies. Did not only suffer because of their mental health problems but
also the fear of being labelled as special snowflakes and seen to be spoiled as well as entitled.
This is unfortunate and true as one of the side effects of these leads to suffering from mental
health problems do not get support system and social connection they need. the millennials must
be encouraged for sitting out there supportive relationships both in the workplace as well as out
of it. Participation in the peer to peer support designed by the employers, finding out mentors for
getting advised on the career related issues, dealing with the work related anxiety and stress,
joining the support group, identifying the friends who can help these people in distress and
joining the support group can help.

As many of the young millennials do not have financial support to hire the counsellors, they can
take help from different resources. firstly they can take help from the internet and other
technological platforms so that they stay connected with the support groups or for that matter of
free counsellors in the Non governmental organisations. Secondly they also can help themselves
by evaluating themselves and set their daily targets. They can find out different hobbies and
invest their time in it. Finally, by increasing value and employing themselves in the creative
measures can help them to motivate themselves without getting help from any counselling.
In this era of commercialization of mental wellbeing the growing profession of the
millennial students seem to be terrified of failure and process of learning. to them the experience
of unforgiving commands from the universities offer no room for any mistake for creativity of
the student life. The study reveals that half of the young students in Britain regularly go to
university among which another half seek help for counselling innovatively (Teng 2017). This
reflects and wider crisis among the mental health of the young people in Britain. The studies
have also found that affects more the young people in Britain under the age of 24 bear
psychological problems than one generation ago (Shackle 2020). One of the main reasons why
this issue of mental health is being avoided simultaneously because of the cutting in budget for
social work and youth services can be seen. the above mentioned solutions can help the
millennial a gret way but these can be applicable ony for thee situations at a low level. In
the more critical situations, the millennial need to have capability to visit the counsellors.
this is the reason why the state governemnts and Universities are responsible to take initiatve to
solve problems associated with the psychological issues of young people as they are not being
able to acheive any type of help to meet certain challenges. There are a lot of demand seen

among the young people in the universities and thw workplaces because this is reflecting the
entire Society of the UK.
In this drive for making the universities in the UK more profitable there are certain
initiatives need to be taken by the government but the Expectations have also been increased in
last two decades. However according to the university authority the stress among the millennial
is increasing no doubt but as the situation stands right now they are playing the role of educator
parents and therapist. This is why the Institutions are under tremendous strain and striving to
adapt with the new demands of the students (Fitzsimons et al. 2019). Here nobody is questioning
why the university authority is not being able to cope with the increasing demand of therapist for
the millennial but only accusing them radically. The authority act claims that it is their duty to
play the role of educated only but without any support from the government they are not being
able to arrange for counsellors to treat the millennial students going for workplace.
The main problem lies with the fact that the university are climbing higher fees per year
and this is actually growing from year to year. This is the reason why the students are not being
able to balance their payment to University and manage their personal expenses. Managing this
type of stress related to financial situation and study have become problematic for the students.
in this regard they are not being able to hire counsellors and take time to reflect on their own
feelings.
There are various ways and initiatives taken by the Students Union in Britain so that the
incidence of depression and suicide cases get reduced. First of all the availability of the
counsellors and the inability of the millennial students to hire them is pressing the of treaties at
their best. This is the reason why the millennials need to take care of themselves. Moreover the
situation has become so Grave that many of the millennial students and not being able to stay at

their home and continue their higher studies in the universities because they come from various
countries and other region to get the opportunity of completing their graduation. Therefore it is
not possible for their parents to stay with them and enhance expenses. Hence the students need to
take time and reflect on their own feelings. The social distancing and living alone is a dreadful
experience for many of the millennial students there for they do not judge their feelings and
increase their sadness frustration fear confusion and loneliness.
Meaning of the human resource managers in different organisations are acknowledging
this problem of psychological demand of the students entering their organisations as fresher. To
the human resource management of such organisations acknowledging the demand of
psychological help among the students need to be increased so that they can feel motivated to
enter any organisation and accept their change in life. The frustration and psychological issues
increased anxiety attack which reduces the capability and productivity of the employees.
