INTRODUCTION
This report aims to build an innovative business plan that assists an individual to
achieve their target goals and objectives (Fichter and Tiemann, 2020). In this report, all the
important elements will cover which required making an effective business plan. Currently,
the hospitality industry is running its business very well and that’s why this business plan is
for a small-sized restaurant that includes a cafe also. This business plan will cover an
overview of the company, products and services, market audit, target market, marketing plan,
management team and financial plan.
MAIN BODY
Business/Company Overview
The name of a new restaurant is “Yummy Rescafe” which is located in the high street
of London, UK. To start a new business, a fine dining restaurant is chosen with a capacity of
50 seats. It will also include a small cafe that provides casual dining to the customers so that
restaurant is able to attract all the customers. They are targeted to each type of customer who
wants to enjoy a cafeteria moment or fine dine restaurant (Watson, McGowan and
Cunningham, 2018). It is an LLC which have a total of 5 members. It includes 2 founders and
2 chefs and the remaining 1 is for cleaning tables and the surface of the restaurant. This
restaurant is designed for combining an atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff and
menu varieties. This will create a unique experience for customers and is really helpful to
reach the goals and objectives of high-value in the market. To attract the best team, the
restaurant is planning to spend more on petrol as a gross margin is comparatively higher than
the industry average. In addition to this, estimated growth for the first two years is moderate.
Product and Services
This is the business plan of a restaurant that provides excellent products and services
to the customers so that they are able to satisfy their customers. The ultimate objective
of Yummy Rescafe is to maximise the satisfaction of customers. Yummy Rescafe is
preparing an excellent quality of food items which is mainly focusing on Swedish and
Peruvian and their fusion also. In addition to this, there is a small cafe which is mainly
focusing on serving the best quality of fast food and their fusion with vegan food products. It

is very important for the restaurant to provide the best quality of food products so that they
can abide by all the health and safety-related laws.
Market audit
The restaurant can become successful only when they are making the best business
plan which fits their business. For that purpose, it is very crucial for them to do a market audit
(Jukova and et.al., 2019). The market audit is found to be important as it helps an
organisation to identify the trends and needs of the market. If the restaurant wants to survive
in the market, then it becomes very important to do a market audit. It can be done with many
tools and techniques such as PEST analysis, SWOT analysis, etc. These tools are necessary
for the development of an effective business tool.
PEST
PEST is an important tool that provides a great impact on the marketing process.
When a restaurant needs to do marketing then it becomes very crucial for an organisation to
analyse the internal as well as external environment (Cant, 2018). This tool is very effective
in order to understanding the market growth or decline.
Political: It is a small size restaurant so they have fewer restrictions of government. It
is identified that there are many political factors that need to be considered by
companies so that they can run their business in an effective way. But in the case of
small size organisations, it is found that UK Government provides many types of
subsidies which make the business easy to do.
Economical: After the pandemic situation, it is identified that the economic situation
of the country is declining as the purchasing power of the individual is become low.

appropriate framework that is really helpful for segmenting, targeting and positioning the
market.
Segmentation: It is found to be the first and foremost step in which restaurant needs
to divide the whole market into segments so it becomes easy for them to target their
market. It can be segmented on the basis of demographic, psychological, etc.

why it becomes crucial for a restaurant to make a marketing plan which solves their problem.
It should include the following elements:
Product: The first thing which needs to be ensured is that the product and services to
be decided by an organisation which they will offer to the customers. It is identified

Price: The price is playing an important role in order to attract customers as today's
customers are focusing on the products which have good quality with reasonable
