Ethical requirements considered in the case of Yvette such as maintaining confidentiality,
autonomy, justice and non-maleficence are some of the requirements which helps in addressing
the aspects as to how the care is provided to Yvette in the hospital as he has got hurt (Lustgarten
and Elhai, 2018). By keeping all these ethical requirements in mind, the care for the health of
Yvette is being provided to her in the hospital. Therefore, these ethical considerations are
considered as important in this case of Yvette.
Question 2A
There are certain policies and procedures which the organization should follow when
Yvette got hurt. These organizations policies and procedures include the noting of incident in the
incident report, performing regular inspections, implementing control measures, taking a risk
management approach, supervising employees to take care of themselves by providing them
training. These are some of the aspects as to how the care can be taken of the employees at the
workplace or organization.
The policies and procedures can be accessed with the help of formal communication and
knowing the details of the policies by communicating with the seniors in the organization.

Support can be provided to the client in maintaining security of her personal items and her
property by providing her knowledge that how she can take care of her personal items. She
should be told that there are certain items which should be taken care of so that her home
environment cannot get disturbed and so her professional life is also maintained effectively and

and secure by keeping all the information and data confidential.

Possible indicators told by Yvette of abuse or neglect are – that she is neglecting the fact
that she is becoming frustrated of her grandson behaviour while living with her as he has come to
stay with her. The abuse she is facing is that she is providing all types of facilities to her
grandson still she is being abused by his behaviour as her whole home is messed up with the
items on the floor and loud music being played by him. These are some of the indicators that she
is facing both abuse and neglect in the behaviour.

These aspects can be possible indicators of neglect and abuse as they denote that Yvette
has been facing the abuse due to her grandson’s behaviour and she is not complaining and
responding back to it as she is neglecting the fact that she is suffering from the behaviour of her
grandson in the most ineffective manner.

According to organization policies and procedures, in response to these indicators are –
There is Abuse Prohibition Policy in the organization for the employees so that they doe not face
any of the issues related to abuse through which any suspected abuse can be noted and paid
attention to (Cavalier, 2019). With the help of safeguarding the person there are prevention
measures which are taken into consideration within organization.
In respect to the organization policies and procedures, it is done that the indicators are
being analysed and evaluated at large scale which helps in knowing that how effectively the
problems re being removed. Proper care and concern is being provided to Yvette so that she feels
safe and secure within the organization and does not stress over what she is facing which is also
done by solving her problems and issues.
According to the policies and the procedures I will explain Yvette that this is not right
that she is getting tired and still working for her grandson. I will suggest her to take stand against
this and tell her grandson to help her in the work or move to somewhere else. I will report this
incident to the Council on the Ageing (COTA) that represents the old people so that they can
help Yvette in taking the decision of not allowing her grandson to behave in this way with her. I

The government program to which the service belong is the DVA which is a community
nursing program which helps in giving range of quality care and related services to the person
which also include the home community nursing services at large scale so that Yvette does not
face any type of problems and issues when she is at home.

To make Yvette feel empowered with the help of person-centred strategies and customer
directed assistance there will be aspects as to how the person feels valued within the organization
and to prioritising their solutions so that they deliver the best performance within organization at
large scale (Spratt Devaney and Frederick, 2019). Motivating and encouraging the employees by
customer directed assistance so that Yvette performs better in creating value of her work at the
organization and she does not feel distressed.
