1 According to regulations, it is necessary to follow the process of child care with all the information of the parents, child, caretaker and all the emergency details must be provided in the child care form before leaving the child at the care center. FCC must be licensed as it meets the various standards which are set by the state for caring, health and child’s safety(Rigby, et al., 2007). As the unlicensed FCC is majorly the family, friend and neighbor care. Licensing of child care helps in setting the guarantee that the minimum requirement will be provided and all the things will be monitored and regulations will be followed. I would be asked the mother on phone call to provide all the details about the child as the Q’s health is the most important thing to take careof (Click and Karkos, 2013. As the child care regulations are made for the child’s protection and care. As the mother has not provided the Q's solution to the caretaker and it will be difficult to feed anything else to the child as it will cause allergies or any illness to a child. And all the things must be discussed in advance regarding the policies and regulations like pickups and drop-offs of the child as later on it will be difficult to manage the things. Every parent needs the best facility of daycare and Q is only 6 months old which requires the full care, supervision, and attention. Amy is already handling 3 children and will not be able to manage the things of small children all alone in very short notice time. So it is necessary to plan some things to handle some situations in advance(Greenblatt, 2011). I would have asked the mother to agree on the policies which are to be followed and will not take the risk to take care of the child without any prior information about the child and personal details. I would have asked to bring all the details of the Q’s along with the diet to be provided to him. It is necessary to feed the healthy food to the child and non-allergic also as a child is more sensitive. I would have asked for a contact number for contacting an emergency. It will be difficult for Amy to take care of Q's as she is already taking care of her three children and it will be difficult for her to handle Q also and without any knowledge and preparation also. She could have said no to Q's mother for taking care of Q at very short notice so it will not happen in the future(Hofferth and Chaplin, 2008). As every parent wants to take care of their child with the best quality and it will be provided only when all the information is properly available with the provider at the center. Q's mother must have visited the place earlier to meet the caretaker for giving guidance to her about Q. As per the regulations, parents must provide their expectations also to the care provider so that any issue will not occur in the future.
